  1. That's a long wait. Will he still be interested by 2017? I think I just got DC wood reading this news.
  2. Hmmm....didn't know he was from Saturn. He looked Kalanorian but I knew he couldn't be Despero.
  3. Why not the "Titanic Hindenburg:" You got my vote. Titanic Hindenburg FTW!!!!!
  4. This thread should be renamed "The Titanic"....possibly "The Hindenburg".
  5. Red Tornado looks terrible! He looks like something from the Power Rangers show. It looks like he's ready to go do some landscaping around the yard. Watch out!!! It's Red Landscapo coming to get ya gal!! LMAO...
  6. Are Hawkman and Hawkgirl in chains or is that part of their getup?
  7. First off, I thought THIS was a pretty neat tidbit to share: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eobard_Thawne#Powers_and_abilities Not sure that is a definitive answer to the identity of Zoom as this season's villain however, but I've seen so many tips of the hat to fans through this show it's not unreasonable to think they'd use Shipp in this capacity. Nonetheless, very cool. But in answer to your original question regarding the speed-dampening serum: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverse-Flash#Zoom https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoom_%28comics%29#Powers_and_abilities
  8. Tons of speedsters on this show!!! Barry Allen, Jay Garrick, Eobard Thawne, Zoom, a teased version of Wally West.....and now Jesse Quick?!? They keep rolling out the surprises every week....
  9. You might be onto something there.....considering that one of Zoom's instructions besides "Kill The Flash" is "Kill your doppelganger"...as in what happened to Atom Smasher's double and almost Dr. Light's double.

  11. Last night's episode of Arrow truly utilized Constantine in the way they SHOULD have embraced him on NBC. What a shame they couldn't see what a gem they had over at that network before they pulled the chute. Constantine used more magic and had more action in that one episode of Arrow than he had in his entire series on NBC. This morning I found this interesting tidbit: http://comicbook.com/2015/11/05/constantine-takes-a-shot-at-nbc-on-arrow/
  12. Last night's episode was off the chain!!! There was more showcasing of Constantine's magic and abilities in that one episode than there was in the entire run of Constantine on NBC. The CW demonstrated some of the real potential that character has and I was not disappointed. It just goes to show that they know how to deliver what the fans want at the CW.
  13. Just think, we could have ended up with some corny interpretation like that for the new DCEU movies! That's a little TOO close to the source material and a bit TOO cartoony for anything but Halloween. I don't know. Maybe tone down the teeth a little bit and the odd pose and I would be okay with this (presuming of course it was all adapted to a male actor). -J. Let's face it, THAT'S what the comic version of The Joker presents like. I'd find it hard to be terrified, and I'd have difficulty with suspension of disbelief if that was the way he'd appear in the new DCEU. Can you see Batman going toe to toe with that for more than 11 seconds? Don't get me wrong, I'm not LOVING Leto....but I'm willing to see how the end product rolls out and it already looks better than the Halloween costume.

Bane most certainly should not be British Bane should ALWAYS sound precisely like Henry Kissinger.
  15. I'm a sucker for anything that includes Man-Thing....... Howling Commandos.... B.T.W.: Someone has to fix that sign for Frank.... Howling Typos FTW!

  17. I made the same argument at the end of the 1st season. When Eddie offed himself, it should have changed.....EVERYTHING: The accelerator explosion, Barry gaining his powers via the accelerator explosion, Barry's mom's death, Barry's father's imprisonment, Wells' death at the hands of Thawne......and the list goes on and on and on. It's a giant plothole that I guess we're going to have to look past unless they craft some ingenious explanation. For now it's the equivalent of the dinosaurs not dying from an impact event whilst the mammals take over. Just because it's time-travel stuff doesn't mean it doesn't have to make sense.
  18. I think I like Leto better now....LMAO!
  19. Yeah, Iris is the worst part of this show. She's such a bad actor. Similar to Laurel Lance on Arrow. She wouldn't be all that bad if they used her sparingly, but the heartbroken Barry stuff is getting old and the neverending drama that surrounds Iris is just over the top unnecessary. More superhero stuff, less General Hospital/Days of Our Lives nonsense FTW! Not to be a pain, but maybe I should point out that we've had Weather Wizard, Captain Cold, Grodd, Professor Zoom, Heatwave, Firestorm, Atom and more when you count the Arrow crossovers - and were ONLY in the second episode of the 2nd season - so it's not exactly like they are sandbagging, when it comes to "more superhero stuff". Is it possible we've been spoiled a little, huh? You're right Boba....they have gifted us with tons of hero/villain stuff. However, none of that can make me actively enjoy Iris's drama rollercoaster.

  21. That never stopped someone from reading a book with only one edition or a short story, or even a one shot comic. IMHO it's a bit silly to avoid reading a great anything with unbelievably incredible artwork just because of "uncertainty" regarding the book's future. H.G. Wells is dead and buried, so is Leo Tolstoy and Mark Twain.....just because we can't look forward to new material from those folks is not a justifiable reason to never open their great works. But in spite of all that you're definitely entitled to your opinion and position. Having said that, you really are missing out if you don't pick up a copy regardless of the book's future. I dropped Tolstoy after The Death of Ivan Ilyich. Definitely seemed like he wasn't in it for the long haul. I felt the same way after Shakespeare's: The Two Noble Kinsmen. He doesn't want to keep putting out plays, he can trade his ruff for a farthingale and stick it!
  22. Whoa. My 0.5 is complete. Cha-ching. You think that's nuts? Put on your big boy pants for this tidbit: CGC Apparent NG: Aug-03-2015 $406 Cert# 1205102001 Category: Apparent Pedigree: TRIMMED Page Quality: CREAM TO OFF-WHITE Label Text: COVER IS LAMINATED AND MOUNTED ON CARDBOARD. (Staples removed, tape on interior) (RIGHT EDGE TRIMMED) Grade Date: 06/26/2015 So basically even a page from that book or a book in any condition is now worth:
