  1. Is this an unofficial way of the CW confirming a new Constantine series? This is a CW TV action figure line.....and in spite of Constantine being on Arrow 1x, it'd be hard to justify a figure based merely upon that one appearance.
  2. i like it but i get a reverse flash feel to it. That's a pretty standard Kid Flash color scheme.....always looked like the Reverse Flash:
  3. Watch the animated feature: The Flashpoint Paradox. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justice_League:_The_Flashpoint_Paradox
  4. I'm not sure that we're seeing Jesse depicted as being innately bad.....I think we keep seeing the two competing sides of Genesis within him....one evil, the other good....both possessing him. Him getting stirred up by Eugene caused the evil half to react.
  5. I remember there being an "easter egg" picture with Harley's old outfit on the ground in one of the leaked set photos:
  6. Saw the extended cut and it's much better than the theatrical release IMHO. Had they gone with that instead there'd have been a lot less confusion and moaning. There's still some stuff that Snyder needs to approach differently: like indiscriminately killing Jimmy Olsen and Mercy Graves in one movie. But I'll suck it up for the sake of realism. I still think Eisenberg sucks as Luthor, but his motivation and his hand in various events was made much clearer.
  7. Remember that photo op that featured the first picture of Aquaman? "Unite the Seven". GL HAS to be in this movie......in spite of the fact we've seen zero additional hints of his inclusion.
  8. This might be the coolest thing I've ever seen....you had me at portal beast with rotating teeth!!!!
  9. That's Hollywood for you.....if the formula works......try it until it doesn't. Yeah, I'm a bit nauseated by the lack of inspiration as well....there's SO MUCH SOURCE MATERIAL to pull from.....there are SO MANY GOOD IDEAS ALREADY OUT THERE, with AWESOME characterizations that are ESTABLISHED and fit. Why pull from the weakest, least common denominator pile...and then shake the characters up in ways that just suck? http://io9.gizmodo.com/on-the-set-of-justice-league-the-movie-that-wants-to-s-1782290344 Really, that's what you learned from the public outcry? Off guard? Folks were screaming about what they saw teased months before the release.....the horrible portrayal of Luthor, everyone running around with the sad Superman memes.....too many characters with not enough plot. They know they screwed the pooch. And now they're lubing it up again for the next beastial bangfest.
  10. What I heard is del Toro and Snyder were going to have a creative team dinner, and the latter promised the former Grilled Shrimp Scampi with the smoothest of white wine. del Toro shows up, and it ends up being a Big Mac meal because Snyder found out del Toro loved Kingsman. Especially that scene with the meal. But del Toro had his heart set on the Grilled Shrimp Scampi with the smoothest of white wine. Not a Big Mac and Sprite soda. So the meeting was already starting out at a disadvantage. Add to this Snyder whips out a Butterfinger for desert, not realizing del Toro has a peanut butter allergy. The final results were just horrible. Butterfingers and Big Mac all over the place! If we are going to make up creative team events and discussions, let's go for broke. Right? You're right, it's entirely speculation on my part. But I've gotta wonder why a guy that finds time to do everything else....including write the -script has no time to get involved in the project he spearheaded. Because he can't work around Pacific Rim 2? compostable_fertilizer. He could come to terms with WB if he wanted to make it work...or propose a different shooting schedule....you don't just back out of your own project completely.
  11. I think it speaks volumes about the industry confidence when they say "there's no part 2". They've probably decided to see how this one goes to make any further announcements. WB/DC came out swinging with the info. about future movies and installments before BvS....they were convinced it'd be a home run. Now they're tepid, conservative and guarded with any new info. I guarantee that del Toro backed off the JLD movie because of what he perceived would be the issues moving forward.....and not because of scheduling constraints. He saw the Synder writing on the wall and said no way.
  12. That I can get behind, but that guy deserves no benefit of the doubt.
  13. I just don't understand why anyone would shield that d-bag from a list that protects everyone. He's the exact kind of insidious, erosive, underhanded scam artist that anyone in their right mind would want to avoid like a pool of diarrhea. Buy hey, let's talk about due process and HIS rights....LMAO.
  14. So I've heard folks say "Outcast is better"......I just saw the first two episodes.....never read the comic so I'm not sure how it differs or doesn't from the comic.... But, I'm not entirely "blown away" by that show either. It's certainly not funny for sure. Anyway, it's not horrible but I'm not eagerly awaiting the next installment of Outcast. That being said, Preacher is still plodding along very slowly. I'm a bit weary of Tulip and I know she was a bad choice.....but enough already with the town yokels. I can totally do without the Mayor and his love interest that is actually into Jesse. More Cassidy, more Saint of Killers.....more SUPERNATURAL STUFF and less hayseed nonsense please. Even Odin is now starting to totally bore me.....make him bang a giant meat-puppet already!!!
  15. Guilty or not.....I'm not sure if I care. What I do care about is the CGC boardie crew is great at spotting scams. Even if that guy didn't manufacture double and triple covers, it'd take a insufficiently_thoughtful_person not to realize that nobody has that many in one place...that frequently......and for sale. Unless they're the "House of Multiple Covers". Someone somewhere was knowingly duping folks, this guy was in cahoots with them or was the ringleader. I'm not going to lose any sleep over his HOS nomination especially in light of his tantrums regarding being found out. Someone that was totally innocent may have come across as slightly more ashamed and a lot less angry. At the very least he goes to the top of "never buy from" list on Ebay.
  16. Well, some folks have done bad things in their past only to do good things in their future to atone.....I'm pretty sure I've seen that theme before across numerous types of media. Did anyone think Jesse breaking a guys arm and making him squeal like a rabbit was a strong indicator of an excellent moral compass?
  17. It must be Depp throwing a monkey wrench in for spite. You've gotta imagine he knows someone that knows someone that could make that move. I think it's pretty crazy a broad can be married for a year and think that entitles her to half the fortune someone else made. It's also pretty stupid that Depp didn't get a prenup...someone should schedule a psychiatrist visit for him.
  18. It looks like they're weaving Jesse into Tulip's hitman history. Hmmmm.... Showing Jesse standing over a dead security guard is problematic. If it turns out he's a cold blooded murderer I won't care for the character. There's other options....like when the Sandman tells Peter Parker that he didn't choose to kill Uncle Ben....it was an accident and the gun went off. Clearly they have Jesse involved in some sort of criminal shenanigans tho, otherwise Tulip wouldn't be hassling him to do those things again.

  20. This game can't come out fast enough for me..... Atrocitus
  21. How about a major character with a butthole for a mouth that becomes a rock star!? Arseface FTW!
  22. I thought that role had already been cast. BvS (Michael Cassidy)? It was, and he was killed pretty quickly in B v S: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Jimmy-Olsen-Had-Major-Moment-Batman-V-Superman-Whether-You-Realized-It-Or-120707.html
