  1. wont be hard to spot him when he creates a new account, just look for the broken English sales thread
  2. Now I'm liking where this is going...to get off the PL you have to do something shameful in return, this is more my style!
  3. Excellent Boardie here, this was my first time shipping internationally and everything went smoothly! Quick fast payment as well!
  4. I emboldened what qualifies him for the HoS, IMHO. He backs out of deals giving excuses to not buy a book he posted the "takeit" graemlin for, then buys other expensive books at the same time. He has a list of things going against him. Take them all in a lump and I see someone whom I know I will never do business with, and IMHO, shouldn't be allowed to have the opportunity to take advantage of other members here. -slym agree ^too many chances are given around here when all signs point to someone being a scam offender again in the future ... gotta take care of it while in the womb
  5. yea may not be the best idea then, maybe the person has to include a picture of themselves holding a thread sale sign with a date on it or something? I think this is the direction sales threads need to go in, accountability, this way they cant hide behind their computers at least we have pictures to go with the name posted.
  6. Heres an outside the box kind of suggestion...I'm not sure which thread it was in where everyone is talking about having a post limit or have to be a member for so long before selling limit, but what if we made everyone who wanted to sell on the boards, have to upload a picture of their drivers license? Real Name goes with the board member name, and helps prevent them from coming back under a different board name and selling again. Maybe its going to far, but its what its coming to. Could even make it so you have to post a small thumbnail pic of your license as part of your "rules section" when making a sales thread. That will bring a little accountability to the thread no?
  7. Why not sticky the probation list at the top of every sales forum, so it can easily be checked..as it is now you have to go out of the sales forum and into another forum...most people just head straight for sales forums and don't check the probation list or maybe don't even know about it. Could bring more attention to who is on the list??
  8. Here's my Vampirella collection. Scans are a little blurry but other than #3 They are all in pretty excellent shape!
  9. , pgx case displays on a cgc message board. very nice ducky Rofl
  10. This is just ridiculous...this is why I don't agree with the PL process, now this guy can just make his refund after 8 months and everything is supposed to be fine. There needs to some kind of repercussion for not only posting in the meantime, selling books, buying books and ignoring this guys refund request. Tough times or not, be a man and handle your business before all else. No excuse for missing several PM's over that long of a period I don't buy it.
  11. what was comic keys doing? I like hearing stories of past scams people try to pull off, helps us all learn what to look for.
  12. I see too many issues like this related to the PL and I fully understand the frustration of having to deal with someone who drags their feet. My advice is to include a timeframe in your sales thread that payment needs to be made by. I know mine going forward will include payment must be made 3 days after I send the buyer an invoice, or I will have the right to cancel the deal if I choose. This will override the 30 day rule if a seller specifically states payment timeframes in the rules correct?
  13. As of tonight Zombizzy finally sent my refund via paypal. Not sure how having car trouble hinders someone clicking a button on the computer to issue a refund, but its been issued finally.
  14. That's not the way I remember it...there were no conditions/assumptions attached to A. Romeo's removal of zombizzy, much to many of our chagrin; A.Romeo started getting frustrated with the whole scenario and the advice he was receiving from the thread and basically said " it, take him off " (with an implicit " you" to many of the boardies who were commenting on the situation) : Then, based on discussion of the fact that the OP's request to remove was enough per the rules, Speedy-D removed zombizzy (correctly, based on the rules, IMHO): At that moment, zombizzy was off the PL, contingency free, I believe. I agree with Speedy-D (and others) that A.Romeo should have waited until he actually received his refund before removal, but he didn't. Now, zombizzy has reneged on another transaction, i.e., the offer to send a PayPal payment on 7/23. So, I think the 30 day clock starts over for that transaction...so, A. Romeo can nominate zombizzy to the PL on August 23rd. That extra waiting time is A. Romeo's cost for premature PL removal...we tried to warn him. My I wanted to keep Zombizzy on the PL but the backlash of the community made it seem almost as if I was in the wrong for wanting to keep him there. Yes I got extremely frustrated with the situation and jumped the gun on saying to take him off the PL, I did it more out of spite. I said it from the start, I can see that this is someone who should not be allowed to sell on the boards, the signs were all there in our transaction to know that it would/will happen again to others, and there were other complaints against him at the time, not just from me. Ive calmed down and been patient, Id personally like to see him in the HOS but it doesn't seem like its at that point yet. Question: Whats to prevent zombizzy from making another account for the boards? Is there really anyway to tell if someone does that?
  15. How long do I have to wait to nominate Zombizzy for the PL again? For those that remember I had an issue months ago, it was revisited and he made a statement that he would now refund my money. After waiting two weeks after the whole debacle in the thread here, he finally messaged me on July 22nd and said payment would be sent on July 23rd to paypal. It is now the 25th and I still have not received a refund. thanks
  16. what was the inappropriate thing that was said?
  17. I was reading then all the sudden six pages of the thread are missing??
  18. What? When did this happen? Who are you talking about? Four months ago? The offence was threadcraping and the person has been trying to get off the PL list. I don't want to drop their name but I don't think there are too many members with names starting with Z. Are you talking about zombizzy? Who got a strike? Who has still not given me my refund...I've been quiet and I'll just keep updating periodically
