For the time that you have made me wait to get this resolved I will take a full refund if you let me keep the books the way you did with your previous issue. I won't risk sending them back and going through being ignored waiting for a refund. It's not worth that hassle. Amazing that people on the boards still want you to sell..having two major issues selling in the past few months should raise red flags for everyone You shouldn't expect to keep the books if he gives you a full refund. Do the honorable thing and send them back (but if and only if he gives you the full refund). And we don't all "want to see him sell". If he makes things right with you he should have the opportunity to hang himself again. I myself wouldn't dream of buying from this guy. I agree that A Romeo shouldn't expect a full refund and keep the books - the fact that he said it in this thread after sharing that incoherent PM exchange tells me not to deal with either one of 'em. He offered it to the other guy he had an issue with so why wouldn't he give the same offer. I actually would never have thought of asking something like that until the one boardie brought it up. And I said it more as a joke I really don't want a refund or to send the books back its just ridiculous already. I was over it weeks ago and chalked it up as a loss. I am now requesting to take him off PL

Not to mention, it is kind of silly that he wants to put him in the HOS for over-grading ONE comic. He didn't have a problem with any of the other books, just the one. But he didn't want a partial refund that would have equaled the one book that he didn't like the grade of. Now he wants a full refund and the ability to keep all the books?! In this case, I'm more likely to put A.Romeo on my own "don't deal with" list. Both buyer and seller in this situation are wrong on so many counts. One book or a thousand books.. That one book is the one of value that isn't anywhere near what it was advertised to be and that one book was my reason for the purchase. I don't know about "jump up right away," but you're saying pretty clearly up above that you'd just as soon not accept the refund and keep him on the PL. It's not what it's for. I take full blame for not knowing the rules of the PL and HOS ,,,I wish I would have nominated him for the HOS earlier ... My fault lesson learned... Let zombizzy back on the boards to sucker someone else. I won't go through the return process I don't trust getting a refund. I'd at least like to have something to show for my money

Like I said I'd rather just eat the cost of what I paid and not see him be able to scam someone else on the boards than. I had actually given up on the subject until he contacted me out of the blue saying that he was now ready to work with me since he couldn't sell any longer. Ill take one for the team

Yes I use Modern Fast Track which I stated a few posts ago..thank you for being knowledgeable about the services CGC offers for grading unlike some others who commented earlier

and he HASN'T given me a full refund, its only been offered to me after months of me asking for one because he couldn't sell his books without being called out for being on the PL. This is someone you side with and want to do business with? I question your judgement

I use Fast Track Jimmy which is $28 + $5 handling fee + shipping fees adds up to more than $30 per book to be honest, so your correct I was off on my price. I appreciate your opinion and if the community wants him selling on the boards that's fine, but I promise there will be other issues with him. I know I wont ever buy from him again. And I honestly don't trust in shipping the books back for fear that I will not get a refund or it will take months to get that back as its not worth the hassle

The books in 9.2-9.4 range go for about $90 (combined) and that's already graded. For me to get my money back I have to pay to get them slabbed ($30 each) adding $60 + $95 = $155 in my expenses. Id be willing to meet in the middle with you and will go $40 as an acceptable refund. I can only hope the book goes up in value to get back what I have into it. I assure you though that the books I sent you pictures of are indeed the books I received in the mail. I am not here on these boards to scam anyone but I also am not looking to get scammed by anyone. I don't see how one book could have been damaged in shipping and the other wasn't. There would have been dents or bends in the spine I would think. This is not how you should do business and I will not help you get off of the Probation List. I wouldn't want someone like you being able to sell to someone on these boards with the way you handled our transaction. 7/6 Zombizzy - just doing what I have to get off that PL You can all be the judge and jury on this one. I don't feel comfortable sending the books back for a full refund at this point as I don't want to vouch for him that he is a stand up seller in this community. He will absolutely try to scam others out of money on these boards and I don't want to be the one responsible for it by getting him released from PL.

In response to Zombizzy being taken off of the PL list. I would like to know what the rules are about taking someone off or keeping someone on. The problem I have is that only after months of trying to get this resolved I was only offered a partial refund when I was sold something that was not as described. I had gone weeks sending multiple PM's to him and he had continued to post in the sales forum and never not acknowledging my PM's. When I would get a response back it would be one or two sentences, Id write multiple times and nothing. Now months later Zombizzy wants to post a sales thread but OOPS someone points out hes on the PL. Then and ONLY THEN does he message me saying he wants to issue a refund because he cant sell any books. I truly feel like this option would never have been offered if it wasn't something that was working in his favor (so he could post more sales). At this point I don't even care I'm going to post the exchange and timeframe between Zombizzy and myself. I really dislike this guy and don't want him being able to sell to anyone else on these forums. I understand a refund was offered only about a week ago from an issue that has been ongoing since March/April. I don't do business this way and I would never give my consent for someone else to do business this way on the forums by allowing him off the PL list.

in response to all the speculation going on here in this thread over the mystery boxes. My goal for a mystery box thread was to have a huge prize and have a lot of people get the chance to win the prize. Many times I've seen mystery box threads on here and people will respond that they wish they were on earlier in the day so they could participate, spots filling up quickly, etc. So I put a high cap on it. Secondly nobody has done a huge prize as part of the mystery boxes threads that I have seen. I personally like games of chance where there is a big prize awarded so I tried to incorporate it into a mystery box thread. Unfortunately it didn't pan out and many felt odds were to far apart and content wasn't good enough for the asking price. There were however, a few people who were interested in getting the big prize in the end. I think I uncovered a style of mystery box thread that hasn't been tried before, it just needs to be revised. I think there are many people out there that like the idea of winning a big prize for a significantly smaller entry fee. Miraclemet has been very insightful through PM's and we have been discussing various ideas on how to make something like this work. 1. Boxes will have to be more even across the board. Some will have more value in them (because of the big winner) some will have less value but it needs to not be such a variance based upon the buy in fee. 2. Participants need to be limited. Ive tried to figure out a way to make it so everyone could partake if they wanted to but I'm having trouble making the numbers work. (raffle?) Anyway whether its good or bad at least I gave a few of you some good discussion for the past few days even if it was at my expense
