Do you know the difference in value between and 8.4 and a 9.2 grading? Well neither did I but I understand more of it now. You realize that people who are not in our hobby may not see our hobby as anything other than funny books or worthless comics. I don't think the dad took the comic business seriously, more like a father giving his son money to start a lemonade stand or a "little businessmen" of America. I don't think the thought was to commit fraud. In my opinion the father was just happy and proud his son was involved in something hat made him happy. He kid is a Boy Scout and his father is wearing bible camp T-shirts in some photos! I don't think there was any level of sophistication. But you know what, this is just all opinion and speculation of the situation and nothing else just like anyone else's. So tear apart GIJOE all day long if that's what you enjoy. "Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time" Exactly How are you supposed to learn from your mistakes if there are no consequences? What is supposed to teach you to not do it again? Forget that you know he's a 12 year old kid. Now think about how long the lies and manipulation and fraudulent activity has been going on, and some of you want to say "he's just a kid"... He should absolutely be treated as an adult would. If I were a judge I'd give the kid jail time for fraud activities and then I'd sleep like a baby. You're all misinterpretting "You are still dealing with a 12 yo boy" with "Awww, look at the 12 yo old. Let's forgive him." Nobody said that. That was the thought process that allowed Cap Freak to survive for years here. But don't go overboard with wanting some form of vengeance. Attacking him via Facebook or other means will come across as harrassment of a minor, which could lead to problems none of us wants. That was the point. There's no vengeance or harassment here, the point is to illustrate where this kid may have learned to be this way from. I think it's starting to become clear.

explain the not sure why thats necessary as a replay just seems odd that everyone has accepted Chris' explanation but you want to keep digging for more. My thoughts exactly. This little turd lied to several people in here in order to defraud them out of money. My dad would have beat my for that. To pull off what he has been doing at such a young age makes it far worse than a an Adult aged person doing the same thing. Kid or not, he deserves to have his account banned

Did you get the whole point where Chris TACTFULLY thought this out and omitted the Facebook info. This isn't to lynch a 12 year old boy in public. I asked to see the dads facebook post not the kids.

are you all sure it wasn't dad posting as a kid? or having the kid post but telling him what to write? I am feeling like dad is behind a lot of this as well.

He got caught shilling (great job Joe) and then reset his bids and someone won a cgc'd book for .99+shipping and he refused to send so he got negged. Got raked over in General for it and has been gone ever since. I REALLY don't want to see you get burned, you're always so nice to me at NYCC I think I sent the invoice about January 8th. He has been pretty straight forward all along, that he needed to sell some stuff before he sent payment, and that's fine. He asked me to give him a couple of weeks and that's fine too. Just hope he comes through. I intend to give him every shot to make it right. So, (@ Dale) has HusTruck paid this invoice yet? If not, when are the 30 days up for purposes of PL nomination? I'm going to go ahead and say, that I've had a very high $$$ transaction with HusTruck (in the $1k range) and it went smooth as butter. I think some of the reason he is coming across as a flake, is because he is a noob trying to act like a pro. I don't think he is truly dishonest. I don't. Made a few mistakes, misjudged his money, YES>Dishonest? No Was your transaction a trade or a $1,000 sale? If you know me, you know I rarely buy and sell. Or trade equal value. No offense Branget, but may I remind you of our little transaction back in August/September

I pound the soap box because of that situation specifically. It took a good six months to get it straightened out and nobody should have to go through it on here. When you have people supporting it though, its aggravating.

Some might feel that a buyer who pitches a fit because a seller won't refund him the full purchase price and let him keep the book a tad "shady". care to elaborate? Ill elaborate for you I had nomiated zombizzy to the PL for not honoring a requested refund on a book and it was let go for months, he came back, gave another boardie in the same situation a full refund and allowed to keep the book. so i simply asked for the same thing in a mocking sort of way even though all I wanted was a full refund for returning the book. We ended up after a few more weeks me sending the book back for a full refund. My recollection is there was a lot more back-and-forth about it, and you seemed pretty serious about it at the time. I had never mentioned it until the other boardie brought it up thats the option he was given. SO why shouldn't I be entitled to the same thing right? I didn't care about keeping the book, it was more of a point to show how shady this Zombizzy was with selling which is what I pointed out at the time of the discussion.
