Would love to see that too, but Kirkman has been pretty firm that was a one and done.   But in the spirit of that, with so many great potential stories, why aren't we going deep with someone?  If the TV show can spin off two shows like Fear the Walking Dead and TWD: World Beyond, plus all those video games, how can there not be room for more comics?  I'm pretty baffled because even if Kirkman is not out for money anymore, shouldn't he want to do it for the fans?  I don't get it.

While it's not in a monthly floppy format, we do have Clementine by Tillie Walden coming out next year.

Hey BC, I've been doing a lot of research on these.  I found a confirmed eBay sale on March 7, 2016 for $22,825 unless someone doctored a screen shot back then.  Agree these are all destined to be $20K+ books.   Do you have one?  I know you've stockpiled your share of TWD 9.9s over the years.

I don't have a large stockpile of TWD. Just a few copies that I've picked up along the way.

    & @BladeTX

This guy tried to sell it a while back, too (he's a high roller...with apparently deep pockets).  He must have shelved it after not selling it the first time (I think he was asking 25K for it back then).  20K seems on the high end of what I think one would sell for at the current climate but I'm not sure what he's got in it.  For what it's worth, I hope it sells for 20K!!!  B|

GPS has the highest recorded sale at $20. I think it's a matter of time that it hits/breaks that. TWD isn't going anywhere and when the movie eventually comes out, I think it'll help propel things again.

Turns out I was wrong.  They are selling all 5 raw for $100.  Only $20 a book and not the $79 per book if they were all pre-screened and graded CGC 9.8.  I think you are on the hook; BC said these should be in the full set.  Good luck with the hunt!

Dan and I got through the pre-screen and packout of all the books. We'll be sending them to our fulfillment center this week. Hopefully it won't take too long after the sale for them to ship.

Awesome, Shawn!  Do you know if we'll be limited to purchasing only one set?

Also, will there be multiple versions of the sets, a la regular print then sketch or foil prints?  I know you may not can reveal that part yet but if you can it would help me prep my wallet lol

There are only one versions of these. There's a foil treatment on them (of course). They'll be limited to 1 per order, but you can order more than one time.

    Hey Shawn!
Any chance we can get a print run # on this edition?  I know that 250 are graded so I know it's at least that high lol but are there more copies coming of that one on the horizon or is it maxxed out at 250?  If you can tell us, that is!

Also - do we know when the connecting Skybound X cover will be sold in a CVL or on the site?  I'm guessing it'll be after issue 5 comes out but thought I'd ask if you can give us that info, too (if you can).

    Ryan

I don't recall the print run of the Clem cover, but we got 250 copies in 9.8 and that's great. I'm sure there are comps out there that might pump the number up if they get graded. And if the leftovers from CGC make it out, there could be a few more, though I think they're mostly rejects.

The raw copies will be sold during CVL on 8/13. We'll be showing them off this week on my social channels.

So it's been a year since the Walking Dead labels started to dry up during the Negan Lives submissions.  We've heard several times that they have been planned but where are they @bigclutch? As a collector with 45 of 50 books in my set with custom labels, I've been patiently waiting.  (Note, all 45 except 1 were added during CGC existing submissions.  There was only 1 I sent to get the label added close to the end there.  I'm not completely nuts 😂🤣).

Would appreciate an update on when we can expect these to be available at CGC.  I'm sure the TWD Deluxe submitters would love this, and it would be great to have them on CVL exclusives as well.

We're still discussing what to do for the new labels. We just launched the Invincible label. So I'm going to be working on the TWD ones shortly.

The Yoshi Yoani cover version of the Skybound X #1 Comics Vault Live Editions hit the census finally!  Looks like we have 250 graded copies!   I think it's odd that with the thicker cardstock covers that there are no 9.9's or higher for these but it looks like every single issue graded in at 9.8 which is awesome!

Does this mean these are the only 250 copies coming to market?  Or will other raw/graded copies emerge at a later point?  Hey Shawn - any info you can give us on these would be appreciated!  @bigclutch

Hopefully this means they'll be shipping soon, too! :wishluck:

This shows why 9.9/10's are super hard to get. Even with the better corners of a prestige format, it's still very difficult to get a clean cut.

not to be a drag or anything--but why are these books presumably getting graded faster than peoples books who have been waiting 3 months just to get their boxes open and marked received?-- doesn't seem right to me-- do companies pay express fees or does cgc just push them through first?  what's the criteria to get to jump line?-- just asking--(please don't bite my head off)

Fast track + Pre-Screen (both extra costs), plus we're shipping books straight from the printer. Even with that, books are still a bit of a pre-sale as we wait for them to get through the CGC system and get encapsulated. We're thankfully able to know how many 9.8's we're getting in advance.
