So I have done a search for Cherry comics almost daily for 10 years. Suddenly, this same search only pulls up a lot of "Red Sonja" comics. What in the hell?

So am I not allowed to contact his friends and family and ask if Ryan Smith is the same guy that stole the Hulk 181?
But Buzz, his friends list is turned off for public viewing.
I know, I know Timmy...
However he has posted pictures and those friends that he has and the family he converses with remark and like those pictures.
Are you positive this is the correct Ryan Smith? Whitepages shows two Ryan Smith's in New Bedford. One on Sawyer St. and one on Tacoma St.

So his FB page says he is VP of Sales at Pier Fish Company. Could call them and ask the same question.

Can you please add Cherry 23X and Cherry 23 to the Cherry Poptart set?
When determining point values, please keep in mind that Cherry 23X production was limited to 200 copies.
Also, on the graded copies I have seen so far, the label incorrectly lists the Publisher as Kitchen Sink Press.
The correct publisher is Cherry Comics.
Last, the CGC census shows Cherry 23X as published in 2018, which is incorrect. The correct publishing date for Cherry 23X is 7/19.
You can verify the limited production of Cherry 23X as well as the correct publisher and dates of these two books by contacting Sharon Welz at sharon@cherrycomix.com
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this information. The slots have been added to the set. However, please contact our Customer Service team to have your labels corrected to the right publisher at 1-877-662-6642 or using https://www.cgccomics.com/contact/ Thank you

Instead of ordering 25 books from Sharon and trying to determine which one to send in for grading, I will probably wait until the first CGC 23 9.8 appears on Ebay and buy that.
Just won an Ebay auction for a Cherry 23 SS CGC 9.8 tonight.
Went higher than I thought it would.

It is interesting. I don't think that most magazine collectors are number chasers which is a little surprising as 9.8s in magazines are considerably harder to come by than they are in smaller size comics. My guess is that a 9.8 ("single highest graded" is a bit precarious in an era of manufactured grades) would go for around $700-$800. But that is completely a guess. It could be hundreds less or hundreds more. I think people are only just beginning to catch on to which issues are super cool, which are very tough in high grade and which are worth top tier prices.
The lone Eerie #25 CGC 9.8 WP (Don/Maggie Thompson Collection) sold for $448.13 on Heritage (including buyer's premium) in May, 2014.
The next highest grade on the census is 9.4.

The #25 has been elusive, to say the least. I've found a couple of nice copies over the years, but it's pretty ridiculous how pricey it is these days...
So if the lone CGC 9.8 #25 was up for sale, how much would it go for?

Pretty expensive kindling in my opinion....

Just a note for the two other people in the world who collect Cherry besides me - The limited edition of Cherry 23X has already sold out on their website. This may end up being a very low print run.....

Was going through the CC auction for this week and it looks like it's going to be an absolutely field day for all of the Frankenstein collectors out there.
Strongly doubt that this hardly ever comes around very often, but it looks like a near complete run of high end Frankenstein Comics are available from issue #1 right through to the final issue #33, including the U.K. editions for a few of the really early issues. The only exceptions being Frankenstein issues #18 and #20 which are probably being retained by the astute consignor of this absolutely gorgeous run.
I somehow think this Frankenstein run is going to set off some major fireworks during the 3-minute extended bidding sessions which are bound to follow, especially considering the fact that several of these copies are the highest graded copies or 2nd highest graded copies according to the population census report. I guess it's just a matter of waiting and watching.
I'm winning the Frankenstein #1

It looks like there are 11 SS commemorative books, mostly blue foil. Not sure how many are Frazetta. Also not sure about rarity - blue, gold, and silver - which one is the rarest?
Google says Silver = 1,000, Gold = 500, and Blue = 100.

I've already seen a 9.8 sell.
A CGC 9.8 #23? (Not the 23X).
Was it Ebay or somewhere else? Do you have a link to the sale?

So you "miss that guy" kav.
You can't even freakin' get his board name right. Howard Breger was one of the nicest and best boardies of all time. I am so sorry he passed away. A huge loss to our community. I loved Howard. Sorry Kav, you are one of my least favorites.

His board name was EggsAckley, not "EggsActly."
RIP Howard.

That's not how we roll here. For many reasons. I think anyone that knows anything about Frazetta, knows that by the time they were doing sig series, he was recovering from a couple of strokes and relearning how to draw and sign his name all over again. To make fun of his signature is to make fun of that which is not cool.
Share when you have a chance.
Well you're probably right. It's not the wild wild west it once was when I first joined the boards.

I've lost interest. I don't think he intends to share.
No offense, Icefires- just figure that if you wanted to share a picture, you would have by now. No judgement for not posting the book.
I will share. I just haven't scanned it yet. Once I do, I will post it so you all can tell me what a terrible signature it is. I can't wait....
