  1. I've got one on the way (due in June). How do you like being a Dad so far? This will be my first. Boy or girl? Being a dad is awesome (exhausting the first 6-8 months, but awesome! Not sure yet. I'll find out next month. The anticipation is killing me! I'm glad to hear from a lot of people that being a dad is worth it. Being a dad is the best! Hard, hard work, but the best thing you'll ever be. Here's a great piece of advice: You will find things that "work" for you, things that calm the baby down, stop him/her from crying, give you a little peace. Car ride, sound of running water, sound of the vacuum, certain song, etc. Don't get used to it. They only last for a short period of time, then you have to find something else. It's your babies way of testing your sanity. Just when you get to counting on something, they pull the rug out from under ya. Just keep fightin' the good fight!
  2. You DO realize that the last three sentences do precisely what you told everyone else NOT to do in the first sentence, right...? Of course!
  3. You have no idea how hard that hits home for me right now. How old's your baby? 18 months in 5 days. Huge loads! Been there, done that. Such a cute age though. Boy or girl? Little boy and by little I mean giant. He is super cute but starting the whole tantrum thing. Any advice? Boy, good. Less nooks and crannies to clean. Advice? The hand off.

  6. Good lord people, stop trying to apply logic and reason to what is (mostly) emotional decisions. NM98 will sell for high prices as long as people perceive it has that, or higher, value. Bubbles burst when perception of value decreases. Doesn't matter if it's stocks, houses or comics. If, and when, WD and DP leave the public eye, they will go down. No one wants something when it's cold.
  7. Damn, when you say your going for big keys this year, you don't kid around. I try brother, I try!
  8. Damn man nice trifecta of books there. You've really been crossing the big gun SA keys off your list there recently. -J. Thanks bud. As for crossing them off, no time like the present! (thumbs u

  11. What's crazy is that this book will probably go for what my 4.0 was worth just a few short years ago.
  12. 3.5 for $10K! http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMAZING-FANTASY-15-Aug-1962-Marvel-CGC-3-5-1ST-APPEARANCE-OF-SPIDERMAN-/121511805165?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=NoheGdhJw3qz%252BbIOqZOZSmH1MN4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  13. Don't know what "bottom" might be for WD comics, but rest assured it will go down, significantly. If we're already seeing a drop in prices, and I think most agree we are, and the show is still red hot, what's going to happen when there is no show? Merchandising is limited for the property, and zombies won't be the "in" thing forever. Might be fading now. Remember, book is only at the level it is because of the show. That drove many to dip their toe into the comic waters to pick up back issues and current issues. For people that haven't been into comics before, they're one and done. Not like they're crossing over to other books. My guess is, couple years after show is off air, the lack of interest in the property will cause a sell-off. Less demand, higher supply, Econ 101 tells us what will happen to values. IMO, of course, but pretty confident.
  14. Great book! Interesting top left corner, the way the pieces are missing. Possibly amatuer restoration removal?
  15. $3500 is a little strong IMO. I'd offer $2500, go from there.
