is there any chance in hell this isn't fake? why in the world would Heritage list this? unless "fan piece" is supposed to mean its fan art and NOT by the creators noted? https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/charles-schulz-bob-kane-and-jim-davis-snoopy-batman-and-garfield-sketch-original-art-c-1990s-/a/121907-13155.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515

If USPS tracking indicates that a package was delivered does that absolve a seller of any claims of non-delivery from a buyer? of course a package left at someones door may be stolen after being delivered but who's responsible in the eyes of ebay/paypal once package is marked 'delivered'?

Zero feedback seller from Peru? Seems legit...

Is there a website for the show noting the expected dealers? Question for past attendees, how does NYC Comic Art Expo compare with the NJ Comic Art Con in Hasbrouck Heights, is it pretty much the same dealers? the next NJ show is on April 14 so attending both shows two weeks apart seems silly.

My thoughts also. Also, I asked the seller for additional photos that showed the complete piece of art (to all edges) and the backside and was ignored which ultimately didn't matter since it closed so far above what I would have bid.
-
I won a couple of items also. Pieces looked legit but as previously noted lots of issues with the listings (misspelled names, misattributed art (‘Grell’ Canete sketch, ‘Buscema’ Illiad Pages) and identifiably signed sketches with no artist noted which means there were potential deals for buyers but why would anyone consign with them? Unless it was an estate sale I would think any collector would feel he’d get better action from a more established comic/art auction house.

Best of 2018: BUDGET EDITION - Now Open for Entries and Voting!

Nice Sale prelim. I noticed you listed yours as a 'published' piece. I posted another Sale cover prelim and after thinking about it opted to mark it unpublished since a prelim/layout isn't the actual published art. What do others think, is a prelim/layout/rough considered published art or not? -

Robert Dennis does great work, he made up replacement cover dress for me on an overlay, wasn’t cheap but great work. http://www.agraphicstateofmind.com/comic_art_restoration_services.html

on a related topic a question for the Kirby enthusiasts, what is the single best Kirby Artist Edition if you want a single representative volume? I'm thinking the Marvel Heroes and Monsters twice up edition, or is there a better one?

Savage Sword of Conan owners..post the goods

I have several Buscema SSoC pages, the earliest is from issue #5 inked by ‘the tribe’ (Tony DeZuniga and friends): Another page with DeZuniga inks from #49. I really like DeZuniga’s inks and frequent use of zipatone, and I’m I sucker for a nice nautical themed Conan page: One from issue #73 with inks by Dan Bulanadi: and here are a couple of pages with nice lush washy inks by Ernie Chan from issue #78: I agree with Brian that Big John inking himself is always great, I don’t have any SSoC pages with Buscema inks but I do have an illustration that is a variant of a European convention program cover: -

I loved the 'Three Investigators' series as a kid and would love an original illustration (or cover) but I've never come across any. -
Looks like the piece was relisted with the insane price omitted, it’s currently at $225 with four and a half days to go.

that stinks but seems to me that same scam could be done on a domestic ebay sale?

If anyone is interested in buying some inexpensive Hoffman sketch pages message me, I have a stack of them...

Update on the Bisley Kickstarter sketchbook project: I was very pleasantly surprised to receive my book with sketch yesterday about six weeks after the funding period ended and within the projected delivery time. I honestly didn’t expect such a quick turnaround.

Looks like it was released and quickly sold out? IDW website says: "SORRY - THIS ITEM IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE IDW WEBSITE AT THIS TIME. PLEASE VISIT YOUR LOCAL RETAILER." and there is a copy on ebay for $400 https://www.ebay.com/itm/SIGNED-NUMBERED-Bill-Sienkiewicz-Mutants-Moon-Knights-Elektra-Artifact-Edition/253978947356?hash=item3b22532f1c:g:oMwAAOSw8L5b6lWg:rk:1:pf:0

Sad story, artist achieves no recognition in his lifetime and his family wants to pitch his life’s work into the trash. Article says he worked in comics but I saw no examples on CAF, anyone own any examples of his work? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2290200/amp/30million-haul-abstract-art-forgotten-painter-run-cottage-sold-300-000.html
