  1. Jerry's a cool dude, paid instantly for a nice slab, pleasant communication, and super smooth transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to do biz again. Thanks!
  2. The thing about the show is, as you keep watching more episodes those things that make us smirk and question their reality or the "realness factor" of the show make more and more sense and your left wanting to watch more and smiling. I'm definitely one to want more out of a superhero show or movie, but not this one. I've never seen such great character development and wittiness. The show is the best hands down. I also don't know how many would agree, but it's some of the best fight scenes I've ever seen. Of course I say that because it has some of my favorite characters fighting too. You're right. I watched three more episodes last night (4-6) and I'm enjoying the series more. Good stuff. I suppose the problem I'm having is that ever since he was introduced in ASM 129, I never cared for the Punisher character. (Yeah, I know, I know... ) He always struck me as more of a murderous terrorist than any sort of hero, and I've been baffled by his popularity. I never got it. I'm enjoying the storyline so far in these first 6 episodes, so we'll see. Looking forward to watching more of the series. I could almost promise you that you will love the Punisher when you are done with all of them. I get to re-watch a couple episodes tonight with my wife as she catches up and I don't even mind.
  3. That wasn't Krang! Haha, I was just going to post the same thing. Common mistake though...all due to the 80's/90's animated cartoon (and the Archie TMNT Adventures series). They will always be Krang to me Yes, mostly because I discovered the Mirage stuff later on. I do love that cover though- So vibrant!!
  4. Your new page is awesome, but that cover to 11 is Dreamy!! I just was looking at that book yesterday saying "How great it would be to own this cover or an early cover." Wow man. Big congrats!!! I know you're probably still wide-eyed when you look at it. You are absolutely right! I picked that up about 8 years ago, and since that time ive bought and sold a lot of Turtles art, shaping the collection to what you see now. But that piece is one of only a few that never crosses my mind to part with and I still stop in front of it pretty regular to look at its details....still trying to decipher some of the diary notes blowing in the wind! I always say you could tell you're looking at a good artist's work when you could look at it 1,000 times and see something different, or of course just make you smile. I have to say. One of the nicest Turtles collections I've seen bro!!!!!! I came across the cover art, in full color to #7 with Krang and passed on it a few years ago. I will find it again one day!!! I need a cover!!

  6. Up "binge watching" DD, up to episode 12, I should really go to sleep. Buttttttt, I can't. Never has a show done this to me! 8-12 tonight. Just fantastic!!!

  8. 14.5+. I think I would have to sell half of my keepers for this. Wow. I'm glad it got away. More time to save for the Tec38. So nice though!!!!!!
  9. This is awesome!!!!! I just hope they sound good!
  10. ComicConnect has a 6.0 MP being auctioned off. I will be watching it. I told myself I wouldn't bid, but most likely by the end of the month when things are calm I'll go "batty" and put in a bid- that is if it stays reasonable. It just may. :wishluck:I wish it was a 3-4.0. I know it wouldn't go too high then. Or at least I think it wouldn't.
  11. Tec 38. There was the 8.0 restored copy that got away from me a few years ago on the boards, and another this October. Now if I want a copy it's an arm and a leg. I need this book!! It's me!!!
  12. I sold a nice AC252 to Mike, and he paid immediately, was easy to work with, and quick to respond to pm's. Def a great guy that loves his books! I look forward to making more deals happen. Thanks!!
  13. Bryan and I just completed a four figure deal. Great communication, quick payment, and easy to work with. Highly recommend! I look forward to our next deal.
  14. Eric is the man. He's a serious collector, and all around great guy. We did a big four figure deal/trade and it went as smooth as silk. Great communication, safe shipping, and quick service. I wouldn't hesitate to do another deal! Thanks.
  15. I haven't seen these before, and am happy the turtles are breaking into the role playing arena. I may be out of the loop though. I've only seen cheesy role playing turtles in the past, but not like these. Nice!! Congrats. Such a good feeling! One day I will get 5-9 slabbed and take a nice pic. I already have a 10, which is one of my favorite turtle covers.
  16. I guess they say go big or go home. Holy Moly that's a beauty!! Congrats bro. That's a winner!!!!!!!
  17. Duh, didn't even see the hammer price. Wow. Not too shabby.
  18. Yes he did. That's a great price, pull or not. Yeah, let's see what this fellow long islander gets for the 9.4. He's buying his dad's farm back apparently. I caught the tail end of the story the other day and looked it up. Wish I would have stumbled upon that collection. Even if I did, this guy knew what he was doing. He paid $1200 back in 1980. For those that were buying books and in the game then, I know that kind of dough was only for really clean copies of the books. Let's see what happens. He has some other high grade books he's apparently auctioning off as well. Nothing like Spidey though!
  19. Phil is Top Notch and A+ in my book all day. A real positive dude, he bought a book and paid immediately. Definitely an asset to the community (and world around us). Thanks bro!!
  20. I guess my chances of upgrading get slimmer and slimmer as the months progress. Nice sale!
  21. This thread needs a bump, just thought I'd let my fellow turtle heads know I'm selling one of my beloved Shredder sketches in the c/m forum. I usually wouldn't post anything about a sale, but it's an awesome Eastman Shredhead, reasonably priced.
  22. Great 4.0 Thanks! And I agree. When I saw it come up, book and price were exactly what I was looking for Beautiful. Love the wrap, and the colors pop. Solid 4.0, and looks higher!!! Very nice!!! Love the nice Green in Hal and the logo. You can't beat that!!! Congrats man!
  23. Rob bought a transformers piece and paid immediately. Awesome guy and great communication! I wouldn't hesitate to do biz again! Thanks!
  24. Yeah baby!!! Thanks fellas! To upgrade this much was kind of crazy, as I always thought a 4.0 or 4.5 would suffice. I guess when I made the decision to get it I put my dreams of getting a Bats 1 or Tec 38 behind me. I know that there's always another day, and I'll surely be happy with this Big Hulk.
