Here he is- Conan, the Cimmerian. He made his debut in this pretty little Weird Tales issue from December 1932, a mere 91 years old. This was a recent pick up from HA, but I have the opportunity to pick up some local GA books, and tough choices must be made. I will get another! The 1st appearance of Conan in Robert E. Howard’s classic story “The Phoenix on the Sword.” Truly incredible! Cover by J. Allen St. John. HA graded this as Qualified FN-, and I agree. It’s a beautiful representation of this book. The colors are great, and anyone would be proud to own this piece of history. It has a small pinhole through the cover, a spine split on the lower left corner, and a coupon neatly cut from the last page.
