  1. Same! Does it get any cooler? Those Robotmen are wild! Beautiful colors on this one!
  2. Hey All, I can’t believe I waited so long to post this, but NYCC was a dream come true this year. I knew Quentin Eastman was going to be at NYCC and going to the Metropolis Comics booth, and as I walked up there I saw Kevin and Quentin. Vinny was great and patient with me as I hung with them. I had a smile from ear to ear. I had brought a couple Kamandis for Kevin, and he loved them. He was genuinely thankful and that made me so happy. Kevin and Quentin signed my low grade 3rd print #1 and talked about the history and how it all began. I was in Turtle Heaven. I also got to speak with Tom Waltz. Quentin was so humble and a fantastic guy. We spoke about passion for the things we love and he brought up how Kevin and Peter never stopped working during the early years. He said when your passionate, goodness eventually flows from it. I couldn’t agree more. I then saw Kevin at the IDW Last Ronin signing. The team was great. It was a Turtle-riffic day. I also met RL Stine and Tim Jacobus which was awesome!
  3. It sounds like a great day. Love it. That stand up is awesome. You’re right about Kevin and the signing, but we love it anyway. He has this “humbleness” and coolness that we can’t get enough of. Was that your first time meeting Ms. Hoag? I’d take it as a compliment if she said that to me. 6 pages from Archie? Any cool action shots? I managed to get through to a friend and hopefully commission a Talbot sketch. We’ll see. My fingers are crossed.
  4. Good luck! I’d love to see some the pieces you and Ryan get signed. I wish I could meet Judith Hoag. I have a nice sig, but would still love to meet her. Tell her your friend Dan still has a crush on her since the young age of 9! Gone the days of free sigs and sketches. I know it’s been a long time, but $40 seems wild. Then when we compare it to other artists and take a a step back and say it’s not that bad! It’s Eastman!
  5. I’m trying to get out there on Saturday. I would love to meet some of you burley gentleman and women!
  6. Alex and I just completed a huge deal and his shipping/communication was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again! Thank you for a smooth transaction! Awesome all Around!!!!
  7. Buyer flaked. In nearly 10 years it’s the first time it’s happened to me. Anyhow, $1025 Shipped for this beauty. Only 59 9.8’s on the census!
  8. I love mine too. Definitely an awesome figure. I got mine at Target online last week. It's sold out online, but they re-release them periodically. There are people that always try to double their money quickly on ebay, but I will definitely keep a look out for you if you want one. Depending upon where you live, they may be in your local Target.
  9. Yeah, Alex will hopefully love this one! Thanks bro.
  10. Birthday Bump! Let’s get this sold or traded!
  11. That's a nice set!!! Some turtle lover will be happy with it. If I hadn't gotten another 3rd print a couple months back I'd be interested. GLWTS.
  12. Thank you fellas, and thanks for all of the love for the Doc! I appreciate it! Here are a few more pics so you could see the colors/corners more clearly.
  13. Here he is, in all his glory- Doctor Octopus himself. This is a tough one to let go of, but things around the house must be done! Amazing Spider-Man 3 CGC 8.5 WHITE pages. You don’t see the Doc with white pages too often. This is a tough one to price- Last few 8.0’s have gone for 10-12k. The last 2 9.0’s have gone for 26k and 44k!! I’m asking below the middle at $17,250 $16,995 obo I’m open to partial trade with big SA keys, 1-5 graded books. I’m in Long Island, NY for local meet up as well. I will put up better pictures this evening as well.

  16. As an SS collector and lover, specifically for Spidey books, I second what Chrisco said. You will not find better placement on a #14, and I’ve only seen one other 14 with such nice placement. Stan always ruins the 14’s I know that sounds silly, but it’s true. It’s actually not his fault, but that’s another discussion. Anyhow, I would go for it. It’s a clean 6.0 with nice colors, paper, and the yellow on yellow label looks sweet! Good luck. Oh, and it adds value to the book for sure.
  17. Ok… let’s do another big drop and get this sold. $1100 Shipped Now $500 below the last sale To put things into perspective, there is only one other 9.8 on the market for over $2,500. Let’s go!
  18. Welcome back. As everyone has said, it’s a beauty of a 2.0! It’s all about getting nice “presenters.” That being said, it’s a great feeling to have a single digit ASM, especially a first appearance. I’ve only owned this book once, and it’s one I’m currently missing. It’s a tough one for sure! I’m still waiting on this original owner to sell me one of his ASM runs! I may be waiting a bit, but patience is a virtue!
