  1. Thanks. It was actually a 4.5 SS restored and I chose to let CGC remove it, and they “scraped” it. I agree that it still presents nicely. It was the first book and only book I unrestored with CGC.
  2. Happy BDay Stan the Man. I’m glad I got to meet him as well. I love this Fumetti book, and wish I could’ve gotten Stan’s sig on this along with many others. Here is my #1 that I love. All someone has to do is pick up any of the early Marvels, especially my two favorites, Amazing Spidey and X-Men to see his wittiness and powerful storytelling. We miss you Stan!
  3. Wowza!!!!!! I’m thrilled. Thank you!!!!! @Turtle Can’t wait!!
  4. Don’t worry. I don’t think you’re a turtle nut I’m hoping for @Turtle awesome turtlelicious package. Of course, there so many goodies to choose from. Happy Holidays too all!
  5. I opened my goodies this morning from @Bluemedgroup and was blown away by the Kirby Artisan Edition and other goodies. I don’t have anything like this, and it’s crazy to see the penciled covers. Amazing. Thank you! I’m going to read the FF211 now as well! To all of my awesome and fellow boardies- have a blessed Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and holiday. Let’s hope for a peaceful New Year. Oh, of course to keep the comic love flowing too!
  6. I’m number 17. Not too shabby!! I’ll be picking live, and will go in the bathroom during work to do so
  7. Whoahhhh!!!! That is SWEET! You've been getting the goodies recently!
  8. Those are CLEAN!!!! Wow. You don’t see a set like that everyday. Everyone has there capes. That’s amazing!
  9. I feel the same way. With this, I especially had low expectations, as nothing to compare to the original movie. As a nutty Willow fan, I’m just happy to Warwick still tearing it up. Otherwise, I agree with most that the modern day dialogue makes it hard to watch sometimes. Is there an article on why they took it there? I’m still so confused. It may be poor writing, but I wish they took more time with the series.
  10. I received my SS today from a familiar name! Thank you!! I’m tempted to crack it open tonight but Santa would be upset, so I’ll be patient! 13 more days!
  11. Finally posting my raffle! A nice Wolvie 1-4 set in F/VF that presents nicely and a cool GA classic reprint! Snikt! I’m looking forward to this! It’s always a blast! Whether you get picked in the top 20 or the last 20, it’s always fun!!!
  12. I’m very grateful to @HollyJollyOnefor helping make this happen again this year. I have just the right stuff for my SS, and I know I’ll be putting a smile on his face- well, fingers crossed!!
  13. Beautiful books. I’ve never owned a CSS22, as the book is always a tough one to nail down. Hopefully the decap attack finds a good home. The Bats 23 isn’t too shabby either!
  14. I’m in. I’ll post a prize tomorrow. It will be nice! Happy Thanksgiving too all you Awesome boardies!!!
  15. I am honored to be Yining’s first kudos! This was an int’l deal, and everything was smooth from start to finish. He was a pleasure to communicate with. He purchased a high dollar book off me, paid immediately, and responded to my messages quickly! Thanks!
  16. Same! Does it get any cooler? Those Robotmen are wild! Beautiful colors on this one!
  17. Hey All, I can’t believe I waited so long to post this, but NYCC was a dream come true this year. I knew Quentin Eastman was going to be at NYCC and going to the Metropolis Comics booth, and as I walked up there I saw Kevin and Quentin. Vinny was great and patient with me as I hung with them. I had a smile from ear to ear. I had brought a couple Kamandis for Kevin, and he loved them. He was genuinely thankful and that made me so happy. Kevin and Quentin signed my low grade 3rd print #1 and talked about the history and how it all began. I was in Turtle Heaven. I also got to speak with Tom Waltz. Quentin was so humble and a fantastic guy. We spoke about passion for the things we love and he brought up how Kevin and Peter never stopped working during the early years. He said when your passionate, goodness eventually flows from it. I couldn’t agree more. I then saw Kevin at the IDW Last Ronin signing. The team was great. It was a Turtle-riffic day. I also met RL Stine and Tim Jacobus which was awesome!
  18. It sounds like a great day. Love it. That stand up is awesome. You’re right about Kevin and the signing, but we love it anyway. He has this “humbleness” and coolness that we can’t get enough of. Was that your first time meeting Ms. Hoag? I’d take it as a compliment if she said that to me. 6 pages from Archie? Any cool action shots? I managed to get through to a friend and hopefully commission a Talbot sketch. We’ll see. My fingers are crossed.
  19. Good luck! I’d love to see some the pieces you and Ryan get signed. I wish I could meet Judith Hoag. I have a nice sig, but would still love to meet her. Tell her your friend Dan still has a crush on her since the young age of 9! Gone the days of free sigs and sketches. I know it’s been a long time, but $40 seems wild. Then when we compare it to other artists and take a a step back and say it’s not that bad! It’s Eastman!
  20. I’m trying to get out there on Saturday. I would love to meet some of you burley gentleman and women!
  21. Alex and I just completed a huge deal and his shipping/communication was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again! Thank you for a smooth transaction! Awesome all Around!!!!
  22. Buyer flaked. In nearly 10 years it’s the first time it’s happened to me. Anyhow, $1025 Shipped for this beauty. Only 59 9.8’s on the census!
