  1. Thanks guys. I will double check with him tomorrow. I'm assuming the second print won't be selling like the first? Does that sound right?

Just got off the phone with LCS. He confirmed first printing of issue #1. He said printing #2 was not available yet for him to order.

It certainly seems odd. I'll feel better when I see them.

I'm pretty sure every issue is #1. I guess you'll see when you go to pick it up. My LCS couldn't order it for me and they help me out whenever I need anything.

    Midtown didn't even restock...

  2. So I was at my LCS today and talking about how Mad Max was selling high on Ebay. He asked me if I wanted him to order me some more copies. He said he could get me as many as I wanted.

Am I missing something here? Why are people paying so much when I can get them at cover price through a dealer?

maybe he's just assuming he can order them...make sure he orders the right one and don't believe it until you have them in hand.

He went and checked. He said he punched in 100 on his order and said it would go through if he wanted it.

At this point what could be the wrong one? One of the variants?

Is it Fury Road Immortal Joe & whatever the other name. There is another Mad Max coming out soon.

  3. I may be in the minority, but I don't like the B&W Luke. It doesn't "pop". The full color and look of the vintage figure and blister card is what does it for me

Did you see them at WW for $175? I passed on both copies the dealer had and regret it since he gave me 20% off everything else I bought. The most recent two ended at $350 and $330.

  4. I know the seller. It looked flawless, but with the polybag you can't see everything.

He didn't take it out beforehand. He let CGC remove it for him.

sending these without pressing first will surely knock it off the 9.8 mark.. unless cgc treats an unbagged combo as imperfect?

He has a 9.8 on his wall.

But CGC doesn't treat unbagged combo as imperfect. You can either take the issue out of the bag yourself or give them written permission to take it out for you. They don't keep them in the bag.
