This has bumped up to my favorite title.

Someone grabbed the CGC copy that was mentioned earlier.

So Detective Comics #880 is on fire? eBay is pretty dry right now with all raw copies over $80. Or is my search not working correctly?

They've always been hot, but my last sale for #880 was May for $35. They're double now.

Just picked these up at Baltimore Comic Con, the dealer only had a few other issues at $25 a pop. No one else had any, or heard of it.

Did he also have copies of the one-shot? I grabbed a bunch of stuff from his booth. He was pretty flexible on prices. Or did you buy it directly from Larry?

So where can I just read this?

So is no one finding runs of The Foundation or is no one interested because it might turn out to be another 2 Guns or R.I.P.D.?

Well that happened yesterday.

30 pages caught up in 3 minutes and I learned the following:

Rat Queens : you're on crack

GoTG : nobody has a clue (it's the first time Rocket used the word Galaxy...)

Nothing is heating up in this thread, except plenty of things are...out there...beyond the fence...in the real world where money exchanges hands (scary place, but I've seen it I swear!)

Something was optioned today. I think everyone is just waiting to see if they can get their copies first.

Ugh. I didn't buy any #6 at WW Philly because they weren't selling for anything and the hype for #1 was already a few weeks in.

Are you going to be listing any of the new prints?

When are they going to get JSC to do a Velvet cover? $$$

The modern forum is so biased. The only reason RR is being hyped more than Groot is because people were able to buy RR #1-4, Hulk #271-272, Marvel Age #25, Annihilators #3. There was nothing like that for Groot.

I guess we'll see in a week.

we all thought it would be rocket but me thinks its gonna be Groot the kiddies gravitate too.

It's always been Groot. There are just no minis to hype up and sell with him though.

I have #1-#12 listed and haven't gotten an offer yet. Maybe this weekend.

Does anyone here think that loot crate has that many subscribers?

I know it is over 100,000. I wouldn't be surprised if it drastically increased with the RR variant. I had 5 people sign up with my link. And I saw more people posting links on other forums.

I sold mine for $30.

You might want to try a different thread to talk about this. This one is for moderns.

Symbiotics pattern of almost constant poor decision making followed by abject apology and efforts to make amends makes it hard to believe he will come around.

 

He doesnt seem to be able to fix what ever the "root cause" of his problem is, he's efforted in repairing some of the symptoms, but the root cause remains, and will cause his next mistake.

 

He also doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. He was called out for shilling in the past, it was made obvious what the boardies thought of such acts, he claimed he would change his ways, but as we saw in his latest round of ebay auctions, he had no problem returning to his shilling ways, and repeating the process of "making things right" once he was caught/exposed.

 

Maybe he's a kid (how young can you be on these boards? 18?) and maturity in the coming years will help him learn how to behave, and he'll develop the "should I do thi?s" filter that most people have in between having and idea, and acting on an idea.

 

Do I think he's a lost cause? No, but I also dont think the Marketplace is where he should be figuring things out, and leaving us to suffer his growing pains.

He apologized this morning saying he has been done with shilling because he is on medication now. Then I posted a bunch of links to his shilling early this morning and I believe he said he will retract everything.
