Here's another eyegasm... TODD -- cover of issue #2 (2nd printing), in stores March 27th. Next week!

TODD #4 -- in stores April 17th! Do you love it?

I saw that Tulsa World piece a few days ago and was really psyched because I've got family in Oklahoma that subscribe to that paper. As for attaching an image to a post -- the way I do it is to upload an image from your computer to photobucket.com. Then from photobucket you can copy a link to that image. And then you come back to this forum and click the "enter an image" icon and it'll pop open a little window asking you for the URL of your image. Paste your photobucket image URL into that box and then hit ok and it'll know what to do. Then once you hit submit on your post the image will magically appear. Enough tech support! News: I personally think issue #4's cover is the best so far and perhaps my favorite cover....ever? That's my way of softening the blow... because........issue #4 was supposed to come out April 10, but has been moved to April 17! Don't hate me! Blame me, but don't hate me. Hell, it'll be worth the wait!

Thanks, Shap! We're having so much fun with the #5-10 story arc. Can't wait to start teasing it.

Lucky 13! And I just loved how we were able to get #2 and #3 to come out on the 13th of the month. Glad to have you on board, Paladin! Robert at Comickaze is a great guy --- I think we might do something at that store during SDCC.

You've got my ear -- and I hear ya loud and clear. I promise we won't let that momentum die down. We are doing some special stuff --- we've already got most of a Todd-related one-shot done that I'm talking with Image about this week. The plan would be to put that one-shot out in August to bridge the gap between the trade and #5. And I'm hoping that with reprints it's possible we wouldn't have any months in 2013 that didn't have Todd-related material coming out. And then there's that action figure. With "bag wrinkling action!"

#2 2nd printing isn't out yet! Comes out March 27th.

All the covers have been M.K.'s idea -- he gets inspired and just goes for it. Though I love the homages, #4 (which is NOT an homage) is my favorite so far -- because it's the first one with the whole Belluomo family and it epitomizes them so perfectly and economically.

Andy -- we are putting the best we've got into the book, so I've got faith that Todd's fans will come back and the trade will bring even more to issue #5. And who knows...maybe MK will work faster than he thinks and it'll actually be ready by August! That man is one of the fastest in the biz.

Jimmy -- we are talking to someone about that. I'm hoping by New York Comic-con.

Now that's an indirect endorsement for certain. Congrats Ken. Champagne glass raised. Ken, while you're still around..could you tell us if you plan on tacking a breather between issue 4 and issue 5? I thought I heard you mention that in an AUDIO interview(?) I can't seem to find it now and wondering if I was dreaming. Next month is issue #4 and then you and Perker would take 3 months off? Don't want disinfo here..so thought I would ask b4 assuming anything. That was a great 4.5/5 stars write up you got. Big day tomorrow for ish #3. Also, do you happen to know the print run of ish #2? It is going back to a second print, so reckon you may hazard a guess at it. I would just add the quicker you can fill the space between 4 and 5 the better it will be for the book. I realize there will be a gap, but the shorter the better. Maybe a 3rd print of 1 to fill the space if needed? THIS (but only if the content/story is not rushed/planned out/etc) The press release from Image is imminent, but I'll give you guys the scoop now. We have the trade paperback coming out July 3rd and then issue #5 in stores August 7th. We've got the whole next arc planned out and I'll be writing the -script soon. M.K. will be drawing the cover for issue #5 in the next few weeks -- because Image demands all August covers be turned in by April 15 for PREVIEWS. CORRECTION: We've just decided to give ourselves a bit more time for issue #5 -- so scratch my previous statement. #5 will be in stores Sept 4th.

Issue #3 was submitted to the printer before I went to ECCC and talked with Eric Stephenson about making Todd ongoing.

May is crazy for me because MK and I will be in LA working on issue #5 -- he's only here for a limited amount of time and we're gonna need all the time we have.
