Current BIN going rate seems to be $20+$5 shipping or $25 with free ship so they paid $5 higher than ebay rates. That said, this is still available for $10 from Amazon and afaik, they ship internationally so don't really get why everyone's flocking to ebay and paying double or more. , anyone want to take a guess how much the actual first prints with the sticker will fetch when they hit the 'bay? As pis poor as most ebay sellers pack their books, the Amazon ones are way worse. Play it safe, pay more on ebay and take the chance that you're buying from someone who knows what he's doing

Putting this here, because I didn't feel like scrolling through 10 pages or whatever to find the Preacher thread and this will reach the most people who would be interested in finding a copy... CBLDF Defender #8 has a beautiful Preacher cover by Steve Dillion, and it's the last Preacher cover he did before he died. I'd say it's a keeper for sure! I got one from a LCS for free, don't remember which one as they all use the same bags pretty much. I wasn't speaking about this book specifically or exclusively when I said what I said about cash and rumors, but anyway. So what is the line then? People like things to actually happen on a timetable that they can benefit from? The truth is no one writing any of this stuff really knows, it's all gambling. A little information coupled with a lot of feelings. People just want honesty. We don't have the information that the creators have. It's very rare that you hear a creator come out and say something is dead and 'm not sure why. Is it even remotely possible in the land of Oz you are speaking from that the creator might be under a NDA and can't disclose information at this time yet he wants to give us a tiny heads up? I know shocking isn't it. Right, I'm sure the 100 or so optioned comics are all under an agreement still. If the option is still valid where is the beef? The public doesn't know everything going on behind the scenes and since its not our "intellectual property" its kinda a moot point. Good points. Sometimes loose lips sink ships

They probably bought into it too late after everyone else made their money from issues 1-3, bought high on the first issues, went heavy on the rest and can't sell them. People like things that actually happen. How's that TV series coming? I haven't seen any previews for it. Todd The Ugliest Kid On Earth hasn't done anything in 3 years, not a new issue, not the tv show, nothing. Yet the prices of 9.8 slabs still haven't hit the basement What's that have to do with anything? Lots of comic properties optioned that never move forward. The copy I mailed out is coming back but the buyer still wants to get a 1st print if I find them so a satisfied customer even with having to issue a refund is still a good thing. Maybe the 2nd print will end up selling for more in the end, who knows

I found 2 of the Salvation Run variants a couple years ago for a few bucks each at a LCS sale, right about the time the book exploded and sold them immediately. I'm surprised that the 9.8 went for as little as it did earlier in the week

Funny, the 1st flea market I ever did was in 1989 the weekend the Tim Burton Batman movie came out and I sold every batman book that I had with me, close to a full longbox. I was buying 5-10 of every issue of Batman, X-men, ASM for a few years with the intent of doing weekend fleas or low level shows eventually. If you really wanna laugh, I had a full set of 1986 Fleer basketball cards on my table priced at $25 and nobody even looked at it.

Ordering rules for Venomized variants is similar to other themed variants such as Skottie Young Baby, Hip Hop or Action Figure. Retailer can order as many as they like as long as orders for the the regular cover meet or exceed xx% of insert_comic_book_here. Given Midtown offers the same 15% discount on these variants regardless if you preorder or purchase after release, I'd probably just wait until release to get free shipping. True, or just wait a month and get them cheaper. These will not be hard to find. No incentive ratio, they released all the covers during pre-order, people on here are already talking about it. That's like the kiss of death. Some of them look pretty nice. Remember Gwenpool's Secret Secret Wars, it only takes one to hit.
