Update: Been in my new place almost 2 months. Went with You Crate as @GACollectibles suggested. Pretty easy and smooth to transaction. A little pricey, but I did ship it half-way across the country. None of my graded or "slightly" valuable books went in this, though. I brought them with me. Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone.

I'm curious if anyone knows a good way to contact David Finch and Dawn Mctiegue. I've reached out to Dawn via Instagram but got no reply.

This next piece was the subject of some discussion last month and now I can unveil the final results. I bought a Jim Lee WW off ebay for a very low price (comparatively speaking) most likely due to it being personalized. I commissioned Jose Varese to color the front effectively covering the personalization and to add a back piece in the vain of Jim Lee. I am extremely happy with the results. Here are before and after photos....
Here are the Chris Clarke pieces back from CGC....
These are amazing!

I saw it this past Friday and I thought it was pretty good. I prefer the del Toro ones more but this one is worth a watch. Now I haven't read any of the source material so I can't speak to that. They definitely took advantage of the R rating with the gore and cussing, which I was fine with but might bother others. I think the C ratings given above were appropriate. This wasn't the best thing ever but I enjoyed it and will watch it again on tv or a movie channel.

Didn't know tickets went on sale until catching up on this thread. Just bought mine for the Friday night.

his Facebook posts last week had him promoting the Chip Zdarsky signing.
When did he quit?
I was curious about this as well. I didn't realize he quit until I caught up on this thread this morning.

I am beside myself with laughter.
I wonder if there's a huge lot of mint condition 8 tracks that can be listed as ultra rare and not made anymore?

Just want to let everyone know I quit Paradise Comics today and I do not endorse anything they sell.
I routinely saw Andrew's posts on FB and would just always think back to this thread. It's sad to hear of such lack of service and accountability. Especially since Andrew came on here and essentially verified previous posters claims.

Man, I love McFarlane's terrible art. Even to this day.
What I wouldn't give to see him draw a regular series again...just for a little while.
I love his stuff too. The hand on the sword is the only thing that bothers me with the reborn cover. I love the dragon.

I always thought spider man's most unbelievable power was sticking to walls. I just learned geckos and other criiters stick to walls by electrostatic attraction. A strong enough electrostatic attraction would even work thru his gloves! Of course this is not how spiders stick to walls so it doesnt really explain anything I guess.
It's just like what makes Superman fly faster or at all.

Wait, is that 3.5 out of 4, or 3.5 out of 5?
Out of 5. Sorry for not specifying.

I'm curious how this thread is still alive even though it is mildly entertaining to see his responses.

Spoiler Free
Just got back... - the movie exceeded expectations.
Those of us 35-45 howled with laughter at the Stan Lee cameo. The youngin's aren't going to 'get it'
Stan Lee tribute in the end had everyone clapping.
Movie plods along a bit slowly at first but there are enough twists to keep it interesting. I hope some characters return at some point. End credits scene directly leads into endgame as expected.
It was not as good as Marvels most recent outings of Black Panther, Infinity War and Homecoming. However, it IS a good movie. Don't forget that just because it is not better than the last installment of the franchise does not make it a bad movie. As I stated to someone on the almighty Facebook, it was quite enjoyable.
Concur with everything stated.

Just saw it. Spoiler free basic review. It was a good origin and I give it 3.5 stars overall. Definitely not Guardians 1 or Avengers 1or 3. But its definitely not the worst MCU movie either. I thought Brie Larson was good in the role. Not an oscar performance but that doesn't matter to me. Jude Law was great as Yon Rogg. There's a nice tribute to Stan at the beginning during the Marvel Studios logo which everyone clapped for at my viewing.

THE 2019 SKETCH COVER MEGA THREAD
in The Signature Room
Posted
Received this today. Stole @Ron C.s idea. Had a Natali Sanders cover and added Ash Gonzales' version of the same character to the back. All I asked Ash for was Angela with a weapon and he came up with the idea for the iron throne and of course asked me for a celeb to model the face after and I went with Charlize Theron.
