  1. GENE ESPY knocked out this 'cover' in short order at a price well in ANY collectors budget.
  2. WOW. That's effin killer, man. Quit your job, leave your family, go do some more art! I agree 100% Rollins would have been a better subject though
  3. Well, if photoshop counts, I colored all of THESE PICTURES from the original B/W that I have. And these pics were done from the covers of various comics. Can you name the issues?
  4. I was finally able to get a nice piece featuring Mazikeen with her original face. This is the part of the hobby I really love. I've admired this card since I first saw it back in '94, back before I had the slightest inkling that OA could be purchased. And then to find the original available and for price I could afford, double bonus! Enjoy Card 66 of the SANDMAN TRADING CARD set (the only Sandman art I'll ever be able to afford)
  5. Crazy? Sounds about right. I made a deal for my commission in 2003. At 2005 SDCC the artist said "It'll be done by June, Promise". I asked if he realized that it was July already. So he ammended and said by the end of next month. This year (2008) he PROMISED it would be done by the end of the year. I already own a cover by him, but I really want this commission. He has obviously had time to complete other work for the big 2, he just has bad time management with commissions. But I see lately he has gotten a 'rep' who has posted his rates on comicartcommissions.com and they are about triple what I paid. I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination, but I would much rather have the pic he will be painting than th emoney back. I love his art i guess.
  6. I don't think James LeMay (Canadian artist) got that memo. . .

  8. Very Nice pic. I just added a DEATH pic to my collection today - http://cafurl.com?i=8731
  9. I should have all of these in hand and up on CAF this week (plus a couple more hopefully).
  10. If we don't stop loving evil scientists they'll never stop being evil. How can something so right, be so wrong?
  11. O.K., these aren't pics of framed art, but for the art you just don't have room for this is a nice alternative. And to give credit where credit is due, I have to give 100% to fellow collector Hart. He saw the first pic I'll post and pitied my sad sad primitive priority mail labels. So he made up the sweet labels you'll see in the following pic. THANKX HART
  12. The only thing better than getting a FABRY painting in the mail on a Monday is getting 4 FABRY paintings in the mail on Monday and not being at work
  13. I love the engraved placards. Where'd you have these done? I went to a local trophy/nameplate store (found easily around any military base). The weren't very much, but they did charge by the letter, so the "BATMAN: Legends Of The Dark Knight" was about 3 times as much as the CATWOMAN I like how they turned out. Custom framing by MNSN
  14. Hell yeah, two of my pending commissions. I can't wait to see what Josh and Andrew come up with. Those guy's are both super talented. That'll end up being two badass Gunslinger pieces. (thumbs u Get in line. Word on the street is a certain collector of PREACHER pages has been waiting for his Medors commission longer
  15. Another fine Douglas Paszkiewicz cover re-do. Why everyone doesn't own something from him is beyond me. His prices are, um, STARTLING
  16. Picked up a few pages from the SAINT OF KILLERS mini series. Here is one of my favorites The rest will be up in my CAF ( http://cafurl.com?i=7074 ) as I scan them. Enjoy
  17. Got in a few pages from James LeMay. He does online comics for several websites. I cropped this page to display here just to show off his excellent pencil work. MUCH more can be seen in my CAF
  18. Angelo, AWESOME Cover. Douglas' attentin to detail is phenominal. From the 911 on the phone, the tattoo on his arm (can be seen on my Journey Into Misery cover, also). And I bet if you do enough research you can find the page he is drawing in the pulp book. Mike
