  1. Speaking of Omaha you'd be amiss not to mention this rarity: Jeez, is their a rare comic you DON'T have
  2. 2 bumps to keep everyone abreast of the scanning progress. It's swell
  3. Thanks for the smooth transaction (thumbs u (sale is still in progress, btw )
  4. Just in from Ross, 50+ original pages from his DC/MINX Comics one-shot WATER BABY. I may have a slight bias, since I've seen these pages in person, but they are gorgeous. Ross colors each original page by hand and then will modify them slightly in photoshop. Scans are still in progress but I wanted to get the list out there for those of you that have had your eyes on a page or two. The page numbers listed are the STORY page number, which is different than the numbering in the published book, i.e. Story page 1 is listed as page 5. I will be listing the pages by the STORY page number. To see the page in the book add 4 to the number i have listed. Page - Price 14 - $100 17 - $115 18, 19, 25 - $100 28 - $200 34 - $125 36, 38 - $100 39 - $115 41 - $100 46, 47 - $115 53 - $115 56 - $100 63 - $115 69, 75, 76 - $100 87, 90, 91 - $115 96 - $100 100 - $125 103, 104 - $100 106 - $125 108, 109, 110, 111 - $140 112, 113 - $100 115, 116 - $115 118, 119 - $100 120, 121 - $110 123 - $100 129, 130 - $115 131 - $140 134 - $115 137 - $100 138, 139, 141 - $115 143 - $100 147 - $115 151 - $140 152 - $175 I also have two pages of miscellaneous panels that were redrawn and then photoshopped onto various pages. Both of these are $110 apiece. Thank you for your time, Mike www.GilaRidgeComics.com
  5. It's no Spidey page, but I like this small group of three ARSEFACE pages Thankfully no one else likes this stuff so the pages are still very affordable
  6. And I certainly do appreciate it. Nice snag. I didn't think the page was going to sell, then I saw the snipe at the last few seconds. It certainly is a nice page. Congrats. Just don't rekindle that love for PREACHER pages too much And just as an FYI, it is issue 49 page 23 (the 32 is the page number with ads. 23 is the actual story page number)
  7. Fantastic That piece would look great in any frame. You made an exceptional choice.
  8. Just in today. Check out everything writer/artist ROSS CAMPBELL is working on. (thumbs u
  9. of course. Now THIS is a dedicated seller. The only problem is who wants to buy it? Apparently, comix4fun. I'm a tire kicker only on that front. Meaning you won't take the plunge unless the vessel has vulcanized rubbers?
  10. A Christmas gift from my family. They contacted him mid-December about this and he had it done and delivered in time for me to open it Christmas morning. In the pic is my daughter's Bulldog and my Jack Russell. And check out the hidden message HERE Douglas Paszkiewicz never disappoints.
  11. These shelves are perfect for holding 4 shortboxes per shelf. Along the top shelf I can get one extra box (13 across). They come with 5 shelves, but having them that high was just to oppressive in the small room(plus it took up wall space I'd rather use to hang art). So I only used half of the shelving in here and the rest in the garage.
  12. Well done, Mike! I know you were looking forward to this one. Cheers, Simon Thanks, Simon. Yep, I've been waiting for this one for a little bit, but no complaints since Guy's commission list is officially closed. I'm just happy he accepted the request
  13. You can't post something that nice and not mention who the artist is. That's just bad form. And I too got a free Layton sketch for being patient. But mine looks like Arse
  14. This page looked great in print and I was expecting a B/W original that was digitally colored. But the artist, Ross Campbell, told me the original pages were almost identical to the printed version, minus the lettering. So I bought them sight unseen(he didn't have scans of the originals handy) and was VERY happy to see how fantastic these pages look in person. And on a related note, when I first inquired about these pages Ross said he hadn't received them back from DC yet. When he emailed his editor the editor said they didn't have the originals, he had sent them digitally . So there was little disconnect going on there and I had thought the pages were lost. Eventually they were found at the DC offices and returned to Campbell. and subsequently shipped off to me
  15. Just posted a new PREACHER cover recreation and the first ever, anywhere in the world, Ms Oatlash commission in MY CAF
  16. Yorick & & on the cover. Can't go wrong with that (thumbs u I'll PM you my address so you can send it to me and get a proper scan
  17. Great piece, Matt. Good use of shadows. Quick, let's cut a deal before Chris shows up
  18. Start a new thread titled "Newbie Jones OA Valuation Question(s)" and post away (thumbs u
  19. Just added this absolutely spectacular K.Jones page this week. and a few more K.Jones pages POSTED HERE Enjoy (thumbs u
  20. Marker? -e. Looks like Dillon uses one pen to do the blacks around the edges and any details(like her badge) and then marker for the large open areas. I have acouple of pages doen like this.
