  1. She's getting a suit... Too much metal/clothing... unless it is a bikini version! Maybe if she actually had any sort of body she'd look good in the bikini.
  2. Do not list a comic as rare or HTF and then have a picture of 20 or 30 of them together as your ebay picture for that item. I see so many ebay auctions that do this its just epic fail. . Love it!
  3. there is still one book that has quietly avoided the Eye of Sauron... And lets keep it that way for a little bit longer eh. Wait for release day and then pump it to hell! Wonder if its the one I'm thinking it is, as im surprised there's been no mention of it on here. Everybody already knows about Betty & Veronica Double Digest #211, 100 issues reserved. Also, pretty sure Guardians of the Galaxy is not slipping under anyone's radar... Was thinking of another space titled title.

  5. I love this book more than I love angel dust, but that auction seems an outlier? EDIT: ok, nevermind, it's the only run on ebay right now, and all the other min-runs are at high BINs. It's deserved, but unexpected! One of the best books on the stands right now. recent sales have been high for these. $20+ for 21? Go Prophet!
  6. Prophet is so good. I can't even explain why I like it. It's just so out there and wild. Very weird, but enjoyable. It has a tiny print run of only 5,500. I've been waiting for this one to catch on. There was an initial surge, followed by much stagnation.
  7. I've never had the chance to read that series. I have been reading comics since the late 80's, and know that Miracleman is a seminal series, but I just haven't bought the trades or anything. One day.... The trades are really expensive because of low print / book is in legal limbo so can't be reprinted status. But its so good. Best read ever. We have a reader set of Miracle Man #1-24 that we let fans come to the shop & read for free. That is awesome! (thumbs u Cool idea. But...so they just sit around the comic shop reading these????
  8. When should I sell my 2??? And should I not sell that right at the same time
  9. Let's hope the Age of Ultron ends with Miracleman saving the day!
  10. There were literally 10 copies or more of each issue at at least 3 of the stores here. ALL were in junk condition. One of the reasons that I only opted for the variants. The one store started keeping them behind the cash. Hence, perfect condition.
  11. Your auction ended while some potential bidders were watching the 'Walking Dead' Ya, I totally thought about that after the fact. Wonder how much that had an impact.
  12. What is hip flask's 1st app. Hip Flask: Unnatural Selection? I'm curious myself. That book has so many variant covers. He was used as a logo or something before. It may be some other thing, either an add or backup storey. Ya, when I first started reading those, I found it confusing trying to find which issue was witch, with all the flip covers, non-prominant issue numbers on the cover, variants, etc.
  13. IT IS TOTALLY LIKE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING SINCE THEY ARE LIKE TWO DIFFERENT NATIONS COMPARED TO LIKE PROVINCES/STATES No, I know that, but shipping between Canada and the US is much MUCH easier, simpler, cheaper, than trying to ship overseas, or even to another country in North or South America. But, when shipping to and from the US get's lumped in with shipping to/from Italy, Pakistan, etc., it's frustrating since I want to offer to US, but not anywhere else (and vice-versa. a lot of American seller's will say "Only ships to US, BUT will ship to Canada as well").
  14. ....you mean to say 'Back to Winnipeg!' HAHAHAH! LOVE IT! It's always hilarious when Canada get's mentioned on TV. "Well Doug, the Saskatchewan RoughRiders only scorred FOUR rouge's last season".
  15. It's frustrating trying to narrow things down when listing, because it's like "well, Canada and US, is it REALLY international"??? , like vs shipping to Europe, Australia, etc. Sometimes it's hard to tweak the settings, shipping, etc, so you include the States, but exclude the rest of the world.
  16. A few things i see right away that limit me personally as a potential buyer... -You are in Canada. -Your feedback # is low Ya, hate the feedback thing, but I'm not a business, so it's hard to up the selling quickly. How does the Canada thing affect you guys in the States buying from us through eBay??? Customs charges??? just a hastle??? Thanks for the feedback
  17. Regarding selling hot books on eBay, what is the best way to maximize your final sales price on them??? I've sold less than 10 items on there, so am new to the selling. Would appreciate any quick tips on what I could have done better for the following case: -bought Amazing Spider-Man #678 Venom Variant for $9, held it for 2 months or so, sold for $142.50 on eBay. -there was anywhere from 2-7 other ones listed around the same time -most were selling for around $160-$180 at the time (was slightly dissapointed that mine didn't hit that, and a little confused). -Think it was a 10 day auction, ended it at 9:45PM on a Sunday -this was the listing (it obviously had pictures) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130653660745&ssPageName=ADME:L:CORT:CA:1123
  18. Not sure if he's giving or takeing???? if you look at the Peter Panzerfaust thread, you would understand that he aint giving anything anytime soon Hahahahahaha! Ya, he does look like quite the fairy. And no, I meant Black Bolt, in response to what the other guy had said about my icon.
  19. Hey hey....I'm sure there's like 1000 broads out there reading this comic!!! Would account for 1/10 of the readership. I would read the issues I have, as they're supposed to be good, but I'm scarred to even look in the same room that they're in.
  20. Welcome to the boards! Your last paragraph here sounds a lot like me. I try to avoid investing in junk that I don't believe in, but lately it's fun to stock up on extras of titles I like, and/or to try them out at little to no risk by speculating... and once in a while at least you do get lucky. Too, like I pre-order most stuff, so that's automatic 25% off cover. Whatever I don't pre-order (or stuff that I have NO intention of reading), I can usually scavenge on release day, or a few weeks after. Pretty much I don't want to be caught in the ", I COULD have had 10 copies of Walking Dead #1" scenario. As it is, I came late to the Peter Panzersausage party, and had to play some catch up.
