  1. New variants usually sell for 20-40$ What does that have to do w butthurt. He just disagrees w u. And so do I

  3. Is Divad short for D. Vad? If so, does this mean hes secretly Darth VADer?
  4. When was that ever hot? The same place sold on for like $13 back in August. And one sold for $23 on november 4. I know there were some BINs in the $30s, but that's just people not researching anything. I know you were hot on the book and all, but that was for $3-5 flips on amazon. And BTW, I bought a bunch of them after you went on your rant about how awesome a flip they were. I bought a ton from Midtown at cover price, bagged and boarded, during a 40% off sale and then my store credit kicked in and I get another $20 off! I'll probably wind up giving them away as sets to my kid's friends. And BTW These WERE hot flips. Everyone made money on these whether you were a dealer or not. Ive explained how to sell this book and move them by the boatload at the time they were hot. My sympathies if you were too late for the train

  8. Scout belonged to the first wave of indie color books coming out at the peak of the indie revolution. It wasnt a huge hit but it certainly wasnt an obscure book. At the time Grimjack (Truman's other book published by First) was gaining readership and Eclipse saw fit to release Scout on Baxter format with a 1.75 cover price (just to compare, the same publisher released Miracleman #1 at the same time as a regular format book with 0.75 cover price). I wouldnt estimate print run on it since its irrelevant with a book over 30 years old. The only indie books that are rarer from that era are certainly the B&W indie books which appreciated in price at the time and faded into nothing a few years later. Clearly the TV hype machine is moving this book with speculators. Lets just hope this gets done right spec wise or not.
  9. And heres something for you guys to look for REGARDLESS of Scout being one of he best books to be published in the 80s or not.. Just showing some love for this rare beauty
  10. Your experience alone does not define reality What do you think the monthly sales were for the book? The sales were excellent actually. This was published at a time when people actually read comic books and set forth a platform for the next generation of Indie and creative control publishers/creators. Theres so many good reasons to pick this book up and give it renewed interest, "I THINK that the sales were bad" is not one of them
  11. Interpretation: The lemmings havent pumped and dumped it yet, so it MUST suck!
  12. So, what I like sucks and what you like is awesome. Got it. Not at all. Just your comparison sucks
  13. comparing Time Beavers to Scout is like comparing Mike Goldens Bucky O'hare to Nam. Just saying. Scout is a brilliant book I don't know that the 2/20 ratio meant but I assure you there are a lot more fans of the series out there. Good to hear that some folks in TV land are thinking a lil outside the box these days!
  14. Sad how people get excited from a modern book like Scalped being optioned and ignore one of Copper's best offerings with Scout... Hope they do it justice!
  15. I don't know what you are talking about. everyone I know that watched outcast thought it was very good. I thought it got better with each episode. I'm looking forward to season two. +1 Outcast was well done from score to creepy factor. Soooo... from this whole write up everyones person_without_enough_empathying that me and the ratings hate on outcast. ok How about Outcast is GREAT! can we move on or are we still negotiating I kind of got the same vibe. You're my dude and I absolutely love The Walking Dead. That being said, Outcast and a little less so, Fear the Walking Dead aren't too far behind in my book. As for reviews, Outcast and The Walking Dead are with a 4% or 5% of each other. Fear on the other hand is far less well received by fandom though the critics like it as well as the other 2 per Rotten Tomatoes. I still think TWD is a better comic than TV show and Outcast is a better TV show than comic. I would have left this all alone except you left out Invincible. How can you leave out Invincible ? A superhero comic as well written as anything I've ever read. I don't believe Kirkman deserves to be pigeonholed. He is an immense talent today in the way Stan Lee was when I was a kid. Just sayin'. Just to compare. Day and night OUTCAST WD I agree that Kirkman is an innovator and a MAJOR player in Modern comics history. Said it for awhile. WD is his X-Men
