  1. This kinda reminded me of my recent 2 scores on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301825089266?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/301825013755?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Total - 50.77 The seller lived the next town over so I just went there and picked those up
  2. wow.. no mess http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Mutants-100-Marvel-Comics-1st-Appearance-X-Force-NM-/272085490510?hash=item3f598f1b4e:g:jUoAAOSw585WUNTD
  3. Nah, I dont think youre a dealer.. Side note, I like reading your commentaries here, it just means youre as passionate about the medium as most who frequent these boards. I just like to ramble alot
  4. +1 I can understand people not liking the show/character. But to hate it with such passion.. There's just gotta be an elevated motive for that dont you think? No. I haven't heard anyone say they "hate" the show , either passionately or otherwise. Those are your words. People can point out the many deep flaws with the show without having any ulterior motives. It's almost as if you think any criticism of the show on here is designed to further depress the book's perceived market value. I can assure you that I have much better things to worry about than the FMV of a common, $250 book. But that's just me doing a little bit of speculating of my own about your motives I suppose. -J. No I didnt mean you But you suggested so.. So it must be true. See? both of us could play that angle

  6. DC Comics Presents #27 1st Mogul. Been going on for awhile and it doesnt get any mention.
  7. It plays out bad. Random obscure book, terrible listing.. .. Oh and in the wrong thread
  8. Seriously dude.. Just stop. You hate the character. And the book. We got it. Now have a drink on me and smile a bit. We can all get along I don't "hate" the character or the book. The production team behind the show? There may be a certain degree of disdain there. I don't care if the book sells for $50 or $5000. I have no vested interest either way. I just want to see good adaptations that are actually good, and I don't think I should have to constantly be told how "good" a show is if it really is a good show. Frankly I think this thread is morphing into just another pump thread that's trying to keep this book on life support for as long as absolutely possible. We can get along and be friends, but that doesn't necessarily mean we will always agree in our opinions. -J. Whos talking about sales? you were talking about how the show sucked Read what you wrote and what I highlighted. NOTHING mentions anything about sales of the book. But you just gave it away by clarifying now. Thanks for explaining You may want to scroll back a page or two. -J. Why? Im relating to what you wrote. Your attitude towards the show and character/book was EXTREMELY negative. Not based on sales. All of a sudden you bring up the "I dont care if the book is 50 or 5k" WHERE DID THAT COME FROM

  11. http://mcuexchange.com/taskmaster-rights-marvel-studios/ This should see a bump soon now
  12. As long as JJ keeps on getting schlonged by Luke, there will be plenty interest and continuity for this character/show
  13. I got a DD 181 in a collection with a vintage Miller signature on the 1st page that's actually legible. Yeah it's not encased in plastic, but it's priceless to me nonetheless You mean his older sig right?
  14. You say so. I thought you were a big fan of this thread. Did you forget the title? I will not stop until I turn this thread to Copper's heating up (in terms of relevancy)
  15. Its all perceived value. Someone was making a point that DD/FM signed books are hard to come by.. Well DCSS 21 is not hard to come by.. It just doesnt exist. 1st FM Batman work ss 9.8 could sell for any price youd want it to sell at this stage. I always prefer to have books like that as opposed to common books which I constantly have to price compete with
  16. +1 especially his earlier stuff. Add Klaus Janson and Roger MacKenzie to the sig list and you have a nice trio of signatures for Daredevil comics. Granted, when they kick out Roger and let Frank write, the book becomes amazing but it did start while those three worked together. If you wanna be diff from the rest and keep it extra rare, go with DC Special Series #21 - NONE signed by Miller, NO 9.8s and only 26 slabbed
  17. As I said, this character - TV show or no TV show - isnt going away anytime soon. If you flipped when the trailer aired and the buzz was huge - you won the first round. But if youre selling now, well, unless youre the buyer - you just left some cash on the table
  18. Don't think you could press that and improve it much. Bingo, those books aren't pressable, stock is the cardboard type, and you can't get enough pressure on the corners to get anything out. Good price though FWIW, got a few in, they pressed out really well. Gonna grade them now. Really? I got two and one didn't even have the corner ding. Youre welcome I got my 3 yesterday and they were all NM with no dings. A-Mazing
  19. This book was a great investment a year ago. If you bought recently you bought post peak which is still good, I doubt this will need a show to sustain credibility as a major player, but yeah, future endeavors will definitely catapult it to new heights. What those would be remain to be seen
  20. Thats all going to change very soon.. If you have any FM signed books - sell them now! FM has been signing his butt off in the past 3-4 weeks in other words.. The FM flood is imminent!
  21. No no.. this aint heating up.. but dayumn... just look at this cover
