I had this happen last month. If you are selling on eBay you can initiate a claim at the resolution center prior to the customer doing so. It is better to be proactive rather than reactive. I received a credit to my acct and my book was still returned to me. Keep us posted, and good luck.

I’m not too worried. I know ebay gets a lot of bad rep from sellers but in all honestly they always helped me out when I had unreasonable buyers. In the past 8 years selling there I’ve had premature negative fb removed and cases where buyers were out of their minds resolved in my favor. Now just to be clear, I ALWAYS treat my buyers with the utmost respect. Never engage in tit for tat unnecessary rhetoric, always always accept returns when buyers request and do partial refunds if necessary. But one thing I don’t tolerate is ignorance and thank god ebay doesn’t either

  2. And here’s a new one

I have a buyer that wanted a refund for an item which was “not as described” (high end book nonetheless) WITHOUT returning the book!
He said that it endangers him to go to the post office and he is demanding a full refund.

for what it’s worth, I offer a 30 day return full refund policy and the buyer has 0 feedback. Not that it matters, but just thought I’d mention it

We are going through weird times right now. Shipping of all kinds are bogged down.

My mailman (who I have gotton to know pretty well), told me that there a lot of people calling in sick in his branch. Tell your mail carrier how much you appreciate them any time to can.

As a matter of fact spread the thanks to health care workers, police, grocery store employees, delivery drivers and everyone who are literally putting their lives on the line for our benefit.

    And just be patient...

Yup, imagine handling thousands of packages a day.. Its just a matter of time before a mailman sorts one with Covid glitter on it. Probably a lot more than one. Ive had 3 workers at my post office that were sick because of flu like symptoms just this month. They werent tested but its pretty obvious they got it. God bless all of them

  4. I can only imagine, I have buyer after buyer sending me messages regarding their delayed books. And that’s with me playing my cards right shipping next day fully tracked. Even had a guy that left me a positive feedback “I believe my book is in lilmbo” without even contacting me!! what a tool, he probably tried to leave me a negative but because the books hasn’t arrived yet and me having 100% positive top seller reviews he couldn’t, so he went with that. THE VERY NEXT DAY he received his book.
I opened cases with the post office for all books which were delayed past 15 days.
It’s a pain in the arse but IT DOES HELP. Opening a case gets the post office to track the package and put it back on track. Happens all the time and if you’re a seller you HAVE TO DO IT otherwise your package may be sitting in a closed facility or one that simply has no knowledge it’s pulled out of its route for whatever reason.
tough times but all in all it’s working out

Illinois to me... wait... no... passed THROUGH my local post office to another town's post office.  Called them up to pick it up there... Nope... they put it in the system... it went upstate New York... back to Jersey... to Queens and then delivered to me in Nassau County.

Sure.  I was lucky to even get it I thought to myself...

And GI Joe Snake Eyes was safe and sound... and in the end that is all that mattered.

That is crazy. Now I just hope my items don’t end up leaving the country in order to get back to bayside

    International sales or domestic ?

Domestic. Can you believe I sent a package from Flushing to Jackson Hts and it ended all the way in San-Fran after 10 days? Now its on its way back to the original destination

I wouldn't call them "issues" but rather anomalies...

I've had packages being sent priority, which is 2-3 day initially estimate 2 day arrival and it ends up being 3 and "arriving late" ; also, I'm in Dallas, which is next to fort worth and have had a priority mail go to fort worth distribution center scan arrival, then scan leaving for a couple of days and a couple of different times, until actually leaving and coming to Dallas distribution etc....

No complaints cause they all got here, normally I'd be impatient, but with the pandemic, everything has kind of slowed down....

    Hope that helps :)

When you get 3 open cases from customers in 24 hours its an "issue"

  8. This has happened to me before, but not at this rate. For those who dont know, when that happens, call the USPS and open a case. That usually alerts them and gets the book to get back on track within 48-72 hrs. At least thats how quick it was recovered in the past, hope it doesnt change now

  9. Does anyone else experience problems with unusual latency issues with packages deliveries as of late?

Ive had 3 open cases from buyers in the past 24 hours that claim that their packages didnt arrive although they were delivered almost 14 days ago

    Mulan Black Widow Artemis Fowl
    Disney

Walt Disney executive chairman Bob Iger told Barron’s there may be a few movies after Artemis Fowl that jump directly onto Disney+ as the coronavirus pandemic keeps movie theaters shuttered.

“In terms of movies going ahead after Artemis, there may be a few more that we end up putting directly onto Disney+, but for the most part a lot of the big tentpole Disney films, we’ll simply wait for slots. In some cases we’ve announced new ones already, but later on in the calendar,” Iger said in an interview with the publication.

Artemis Fowl was meant to be released in theaters. He didn’t name possible films that might follow. However, it’s been rumored for the longest time that New Mutatants, which was taken off the calendar when coronavirus hit, was going to Hulu.

    What a shock ;)

:screwy: $200MM+ already spent and they're going to put it on a $10 a month platform?

    you’re missing the big picture.

if Disney is pushing all of their movies by at least 6 months that means they won’t make a single dime out of their projected  earnings for that period. And since there is no certainty of how long this will play out and 70%+ of their money making instruments are frozen, the only reasonable outlet for income is dis+

not utilizing it now to boost some sort of lost income in the next 6 months is a grave financial mistake and just even may create a serious front competing with such companies as Netflix

10$/month goes a loooong way when you have 26 mill subscribers. And a lot more when you have 160+ mil subscribers
