  1. "In any case, it's going to be intense. Ross Marquand, Andrew Lincoln, and Lauren Cohan have all praised the brutality of the finale's -script. Specifically though, Morgan actor Lennie James says, "Firstly, it is a phenomenal piece of writing, but secondly, one of the greatest introductions of a character that I can remember in any television series, let alone in our television series." https://www.yahoo.com/movies/walking-dead-negan-kill-173825664.html That sounds like a game changer event to me.
  2. Maybe but I think its very hard to not factor in his appearance on a hit cult tv show in the current prices. IMO its heavily influenced history or not.
  3. He'll be around on the show for a long time. The group and groups have to have someone to fight. Little do they know Negan isn't a pushover.
  4. Sounds like my luck I'll find a book in the wild when its hot for cheap and then soon after it drops.
  5. Unless its a auction style sale, then a book can definitely sell for lower.

  7. A Jail Cell for Negan.... I hope its a zombie plow gate catcher to put on the front of a large truck. We should have a way of knowing who here has read the comic and who hasn't. Mmmhmm and Morgan shouldn't be alive if everything went by the comic book version.

  9. Have to agree. I can understand that food is scarce and they're running low but Rick made the decision pretty quickly and without consulting anyone else. This is a major decision to go to war and risk lives, not to made lightly and without discussion. Rick doesn't have time for that remember past seasons he never knows where Coral is half the time.
  10. A walk down Copper Age memory lane. I remember having that Hawk & Dove mini series. The artwork was actually not bad compared to the later New Mutants work. I forgot about this one. I know we've talked about this book before in other threads, but I'll state one more time that for all of the Liefeld gets, this book absolutely stood out on the racks when I was a kid, and I read it over and over again, simply because the art was new and exciting. Of course, even as a kid I realized that some of the anatomy was wonky (I think there's a DPS of the Hulk fighting Wendigo, and one of them has, like, an extra arm's worth of arm in their arm) but it was so dynamic and different, it really flipped my lid. I think Rob's early work, when tempered by a good inker, is still pretty fun stuff. Killer bullet holes. I'm not sure that gun fits into that holster though. Why would Wolverine need a gun? Shield issued.
  11. Its not a monster but more of an invisible spectrum force so it'd be hard to make a comic book about that IMO.
  12. They've flooded eBay. GPA actually shows the price trending down across the board - 90 day, 12 month, and 2015. Well the VF and under have. Last time I looked I saw 10 VF's to every NM raw copy on ebay.
  13. All three have upside with adults and youngsters IMO. Buy a All-New Marvel Now book and I dare you to not see a Deadpool cover.
  14. You do know the previous producer backed out due to other commitments right? The previous October date was lined up with everything running on schedule, now with Liman aboard and filming this next month it'll be pushed back to another date. These articles on deadline and wrap jump to many conclusions. They had Tatum for sure dropping out and just when they said it in print boom he was signed.
  15. Seriously, is anyone expecting to see anything other than drek when clicking on a link to a Liefeld variant? Still a thousand times better than that last interior artist on that last She-Hulk run.....omg that was bat crazy bad. Weird. I must have missed that art Nate. Wait a sec..no it's not because it's She-Hulk! Here is an example. I rest my case.

  17. I don't understand the hype over the Deadpool movie, but I realize (box office) I may be in the minority.... either that, or people were just so starved for an R-rated comic movie that they went in droves regardless. One thing I'll give the movie, the -script writers were smart. They insulated the audience from Deadpool by keeping him off the screen for anything except action scenes. I don't think most audiences would like 90 minutes straight of him, so I'll be really curious to see how they handle the sequel. Anyway, that's a long winded way for me to say I think other properties can do the adult superhero movie thing better. I don't personally see the character continuing on the upward trajectory in popular culture, he just works best in a comic book in my opinion. Fan of the movie or not, its FUNDAMENTALLY changing the way that studio heads are looking at the future of super hero movies. Not sure its for the better or not, but we're already getting an R-Rated version of Dawn of Justice on DVD/Blu-Ray, and Gambit has just been pulled. Just let me get some Authority/Stormwatch/Planetary type action in R. I doubt Gambit is pulled but rather delayed to 2017 especially with shooting to start in March the original October date was unrealistic.
  18. https://www.yahoo.com/tv/walking-dead-showrunner-scott-gimple-teases-negan-arrival-030154923.html According to this Negan may show up sooner than the series finale.
