  1. You planning to pass them on, liquidate at some point to pad the retirement fund, line the casket with them?
  2. I have bid in a few of their auctions. Always a satisfactory experience.
  3. Besides the numbers being slightly off, you could be describing me.
  4. How would I know? I've never even heard of chapless arse! I was whinging about assless chaps! (But most likely, "yes")
  5. Here's a couple dozen of my pre-code/science fiction themed/gga/horror/etc. comics.
  6. What's the deal with the phrase "assless chaps?" Aren't all chaps, by definition, assless? When someone refers to assless chaps, I assume they are referring to someone wearing normal chaps, but without wearing anything (like jeans, for example) underneath. Just something that has always frosted my a*s, so to speak.
  7. Mine is around that grade, but I've had it for well over 25 years.
  8. I bought my Batman 1 from Jerry Weist circa 1984. Perhaps it was one of those.
  9. Robert Bell might have gotten into that find. For some reason I always thought it was a Lev Gleason file copy find vs. a warehouse find. He had multiple Daredevil Battles Hitler, Silver Streak 6 (and 7 too, I believe). When he relocated down here (South Florida) I got to see what he had left and he still had multiples of each.
  10. I missed it by one issue! Here's my 104, bought as NM.
  11. Some of those look pretty damn nice! Here's mine. I bought it as a 7.5.
  12. I was going to bid on the 12/32 and 1/33, as well as the Superworld #1, but I ended up not. If you're absentee, the bidding starts at your high bid, so I decided not to place any. I wonder what they went for.
  13. These need to explode in value after I have all of them! Not now!
  14. The only ones I need from there are March, 33 and the first appearance, but
  15. I somehow missed Giant Size X-Men 1, but I did buy X-Men 94 off the newsstand. That's as close as I come! Born about 35 years too late.
  16. Hopefully. But I get the same queasy feeling when I see a Marvel Stamp cut out. Except this is times infinity.
  17. I only collect Conan Weird Tales. I'm up to 19 of the 26 (I added in a duplicate and a Canadian variant of Shadows in Zamboula to make it three rows of seven).
