  1. I don't have the book here in the house, but i believe there is just some spine wear. no spine roll or chipping.
  2. Let me add. I haven't been on much recently, but I couldn't be happier that folks are still posting their under 10s in my thread!
  3. I always knew this one was harder to find than some others, but talking to some people that need it to complete a run, it is much rarer than I thought. Here's mine. 8.0? 8.5? 9.0?
  4. Not me. I didn't know Rick was selling his Centaurs until three days ago.
  5. How long does it take the recently ended auctions to show up under "sold items"? I can't see any of the results yet.
  6. Almost makes me wish I was still actively accumulating! Good luck Rick!
  7. Definitely. Any idea what year he started selling them? My collecting might pre-date these.
  8. I had like 6 to 10 golden age books in fortresses when the fortresses came out. I have since taken the comics out, but I have all the fortresses around here somewhere.
  9. Florida man Phillip Weisbauer was arrested in Phoeniz, Arizona after trying to sell four comics worth an estimated $97,000 to a local comic book shop. The comic books were stolen from a Boca Raton, Florida resident. Any other updates on this? Where are the rest of the comics? https://www.abc15.com/news/crime/phx-pd-florida-man-tries-to-sell-stolen-comic-books-worth-nearly-100-000
  10. Not one of my favorite covers, but because of its scarcity, 4th Spectre appearance, and 1st appearance of Dr. Fate, it was a keeper.
  11. I remember I had a high grade 67 that went toward my Superman #1!
  12. I had most of the run from 52 through 81 (last big logo). Traded them away over the years towards bigger/rarer comics. I only kept three (52, 54, 55) because they were my favorites.
  13. We're big Tool fans over here as well. I've been friends with Danny (Carey) for quite awhile. Had no idea anyone in the band collected funny books.
