I started this thread five years ago today.
Thank you to everyone who has participated, continues to participate, participates in the future.
Back then I was buying stuff and adding to the thread fairly regularly, but things have gotten weird in our world, and the deals I was finding are much fewer and further between.
I just bought a couple of books (for the first time in what seems like a year), so I'll be adding them as they arrive (hopefully a sign of more to come).

I love these.
I have a bunch of two packs from the mid-60s with World's Finest, Adventure, Romance, etc.

I guess time will only tell, but I strongly doubt that we'll ever hear or see another post from @Tim Frommelt on these boards here again.

These are actually "foreign editions", but not foreign editions of american comics. The original strip is Italian, inspired by the 1946 Vittorio De Sica movie "Sciuscià" ("Shoeshine"):

These represent the French edition, which had these nice custom covers specifically designed for it.Euro-Trip: "scusi, mi scusi"
What was Aquaman's first comic book cover appearance?
in Golden Age Comic Books

He could have been on the cover of UK, Australian, Scottish, Irish, Canadian, More Fun #73 and every issue thereafter back in the 1940s, and his first cover appearance would still be Brave and the Bold #28.
