yeah, basements are prone to too many water issues - flood or pipes. if you have another floor as an option I would do that.

looks to be a dellotto prelim. I wouldn't touch the pencils but if you can find someone that will ink it separately and do it justice, why not. I hear jae lee is up for ink jobs so maybe you can reach out to him

agreed, this would have been the route I would go for. also agree with the other posters that have said that jae's pencil work have been really interesting. disagree that this page is just one of thousand value less pages that are out there. Jae Lee is always in demand and a page showing Jae Lee illustrated Batman vs Catwoman will always have a market regardless if its original pencils or this now more commission like piece.

I encountered some odd bidding on this site. There's a piece I'm interested in that had no bids. I'm bidder #1 with a bid of 100 and a maximum bid of 150. I get a note last night that I'm outbid and the new bid price is $419. There are only 2 bids in place with mine being 1 of 2.

I wouldn't do it. my 'grail' piece should have a FMV of $2-3k if it ever surfaces which is a dollar figure that is digestible.

I also don't get the marketing departments on some of these shows that wait so long to announce guests. there are competing shows it seems like many weekends and people that travel have to start looking at flights / hotels. its hard for them to wed themselves to a particular show if one has no announcements while another does.

Dumb question, but if they are actually committing fraud and doing something illegal, which is what people are saying and have been saying for years....then why haven't there been any repercussions to them or their business? I still see them actively on CAF and apparently they remain on ebay. Also for these big dollar transactions, are people really paying cash so that they have no recourse with a credit card company or paypal?
