    for me, the problem isn't the hat or the foot. its the face, which appears to have a paste up. and the face you cant do anything about at this point unless you get another paste up to the paste up. but I do agree with the OP on not placing the piece in a folder and seeing if you like it again in 3 months. if it bothers you initially, it will bother you in the future. aside from the face paste up, imo its a good commission.

    I wouldnt throw more money here. If you dont want to ask for a refund or a redo, cut your losses and call it a day. Thats the gamble of commissions.

    I don't really see the benefit to the auction estimates. I'd rather see the history on comps or previous sales.

    Imo if u had tom king writing the book with the art that is being done you would have a very special series. For now its a series with very pretty art but soso story. On the general batman art market, id say that there has been a marked increase in prices from almost anyone that has drawn a modern batman book. Apparently all these artists think that bat art collectors all all bruce waynes..

    agreed. beautiful art but issue 1 was lacking. issue 2 got better. we'll see how the rest turns out. but for the price he is asking for the art, the story should be much stronger.

    they have some great pieces up for auction this go round...but you have to figure out which auction they are in and then scroll past 100 toys to get to the art? the walking dead stuff is on page 21 of their listings and not in the front? the splash for wolverine 75 is hidden in the middle of muck? they really make you work to find anything on this website.

    Batman fan, i believe i saw the cover to detective 620 turn up on ebay a few years ago. Same seller had my all time favorite joker cover. Both sold for 1k each. I was a day late ?
