I just started watching this. Not for sure how I missed it. Season 1 was great. Not enjoying Season 2 as much but only a few episodes in.

This 15-year-old thread was shared earlier in this current thread. But for those who missed it previously, every villain has an origin story:
Thanks for reposting, I had missed it. The title says it all, “Something just seems off…” They spotted it right away.

Yep, a couple of times a day for me.

I might actually prefer the posts that would come from robots and space aliens!

Update: As of this week it sounds like four more customer invoices have been shipped, including the infamous Flash #1! There is one more customer I'm waiting for address confirmation from, but their books are all accounted for and ready to be mailed out.
Once all those are confirmed delivered it will bring us up to eight customers from the survey getting their property back (over half the people who filled out the survey).
Not including the Flash #1 (which I have no idea the actual value of in this case), the total value of books returned thus far will be approximately $150,000-$180,000usd (note this number is SUPER low. It is based on the amount each customer declared at the time of submission...some many years ago, in fact this calculation includes mid-high grade copies of AF#15 worth only $5000, More Fun Comics #73 valued at $5000, and X-Men #1 for $2000...so yeah, assume it should be MUCH higher at current FMV)Great job Sauce Dog! You are doing amazing work.

Just finished it. Overall I enjoyed it but I am glad that next season will be a solo season again. I always enjoy seeing the talented and beautiful Serinda Swan though.
The lengthy car shootout scenes bother me a little bit. If you fire hundreds of rounds at a car door with automatic weapons, they are going through those car doors. -

BTW, these are the two messages he sent me when I asked about the provenance of the book...
Wow…..just wow….
There used to be a blurry line between this being a crime and a business dispute. I would think that line has been sufficiently crossed at this point.

It is also just an interesting coincidence that both new people are CGC specific forum savvy to know how to block profile views before posting
Yep, I posted that immediately after she showed up with the bomb post but her info was so juicy it seemed to be glossed over.
As far as the listing, good job by you guys.
I am guessing a new account will be made now? That one will be useless. -
@skypinkblu, How are things going? 34K is not working for me, I feel like it absolutely has to reach 35K for OCD purposes.

I have never used recreational drugs or had an ex-wife but I would imagine they both take all of your money and joy in life.
I am pretty sure beautiful women are the most addictive though.

Rey movie looks like it is being pushed back, and may have lost its expected release date in December 2025. A John Favreau directed and produced Mandolorian and Grogu movies has just been announced and pushed to the forefront, as the next Star Wars movie.
Reaction to the bad press last week?
Again, at this point if Disney wants to succeed they need to do a full media blackout on new films and only release teasers and trailers.

With that said, we may goof around, but what isn't obvious since he doesn't know us well is that we're a marketplace community that tries (however imperfectly) to support *all* its members fairly. I think @thehumantorch said something like this in the Top City Comics thread and it stayed with me -- that if a seller here had similarly disappointed Writerwill in a transaction, we would have Writerwill's back, even if the seller was a popular/longtime member.
And with all that said, it's no big deal to reregister. I hope he reconsiders his stance and will rejoin.

Bad packaging drives me nuts but I've come to accept that it simply doesn't register with many people. It doesn't make them bad people - they just have a blind spot, possibly born of a lack of connection or understanding with the physicality of the item that they are selling. It's the same with vinyl records. I must have bought 100 times from Discogs last year and I would say 50% of them were packaged badly. If we spent our lives sweating over things that are obvious to us, but not to others, we'd lead very pent up lives. It's part of hobby, for me. Of all collectible hobbies. I made a rule to live with it, as the bad feeling that can come from constantly challenging it isn't worth it. If the person can't see it, they can't see it and the chances are that you won't be the one to make them see it. In 20 years of eBaying I've only once had a seller thank me for 'nicely' pointing out bad packaging. All the rest were as indignant as hell. So I don't bother pushing it anymore, and I feel calmer for it.
I would support a rule here on the forum along the lines of "Seller pays return shipping if demonstrable bad packaging results in damage" or something like that. I don't buy and sell here currently though, so the more experienced are better placed to shape that policy change if the majority agree with it.
Good points in these posts, but I don’t think the true issue was his packaging. Balls was nice about it and he didn’t care at all. This is about his attitude regarding the bad packaging.
He is not the victim here.
I also don’t think a new rule is needed. His shipping and attitude about it was not the norm. We can’t create a rule for every seller. Most would have realized the mistake, apologized, and tried to do better next time.

That was an extreme escalation on his part. If only he would have had another option. Something like saying, “Hey, sorry about that. I will pack better next time.”
