  1. The Batman looks like a box office titan after the last few comic movies. 120 million opening weekend, domestic gross of 373 million, and about another 400 million internationally. That's probably going to be the new normal for the vast majority of "blockbusters" going forward.
  2. I just wanna see a Superman movie. Not other superheroes, or "universe building". If this is the direction that Gunn is taking, they should have kept Henry, Affleck and the rest, because this movie sounds like a retread. Gunn could have cleaned up what he thought wasn't working but kept the good stuff. Heck, if there would have been some connection to what was to come, maybe Shazam and The Flash would have done better at the boxoffice.
  3. I only have five 9.8's, and I have lower grade copies of all them for paging through them.

  8. My favorites are Raiders Temple of Doom Last.Crusade Dial of Destiny Crystal Skull TOD is one of the most action packed movies ever made, and it's a lot more like a serial than any of the other movies(including the first one). John Williams does some of his all time best scoring for TOD. Last Crusade's score is anemic compared to the first two(but I do love the Grail leitmotif, and the movie itself is fantastic). But TOD has a special place in my heart(hopefully it doesn't get ripped out).
  9. I think that the much maligned cover for Action 116 is a fine example of Cubism.
  10. Heritage had an ad in OSPG with Stan thanking them for selling his file copies. Did Heritage know it was a scam? Did Stan even know?
  11. No real interest. I don't need to watch Funky Flashman going on and on about how great he is.
  12. My god son just turned 23 on Friday. He loves all of the Indy movies, including the new one. Don't forget that kids would watch these movies on cable, video, " on demand ", etc. Not all millennials and Gen Z kids hate everything that's " old".
  13. Yeah, it's a shame that Kirby never came up with brilliant concepts like Stripperella.
  14. I was re rereading FF 48 last night. The filmmakers should just use the Galactus trilogy as story boards and make that into a movie. It would be spectacular.
