The only legit reason I can come up with for Gunn to use this picture as an introductory photo was to show that the suit is flexible and not some type of stiff body armor. Warners did that with Batman Begins. It was a shot of Batman sitting down in front of Gordon’s house. It was meant to show that the new suit wasn’t immobile like those used for the Burton and Schumacher films. The photo backfired. Internet fans called the picture the Michelin Man.- 276 replies
