  1. Being an aficionado of Signature Series books I have looked over thousands in my quest to expand my collection.  One of my main criteria for either purchasing or dismissing a book is the placement of the sig.  I have seen some truly horrendous placements and will not list the names of the guilty, but I'm sure most of us know some of them.  In this thread I want to see the absolute perfectly placed signatures out there.  I'll leave the criteria up to you, but for me it means no covering of the artwork or on the flip of that, done in such a creative way that it becomes a part of the artwork.  Also the clearer the signature is, the better.

I'll kick it off with this recent acquisition:

As an almost-100 percent buyer (run one sales thread), it's fine the way it is for me.  If change(s) can be made that make it better/easier/faster for sellers that don't have much or any impact on the ease of use for buyers, I'd have no problem with that either.  As a buyer, I have used and almost daily check all 3 forums.  The key factor for me on whether I will view an individual thread is the seller's headline.

Same here.  It doesn't take me more then a minute to click on each forum, scan quickly through the new headlines and decide if I want to investigate a sales thread.  If not, I move on to the next forum group.  My main factor as a buyer isn't so much what era the books were in, its the headline catching my eye and the first post denoting what will be included in the rest of the thread.

This is my first non-commission OA piece and it's likely to be about as close to a grail as I'll ever get.  Jim Lee's my favorite artist so it was always a dream to get some OA from him.  As for Turner, I first learned of him from the Superman "Godfall" arc and then picked up any DC title he did interiors for, including the "Supergirl from Krypton" arc.  I loved his rendition of Supergirl so much, I bought two copies of the SDCC variant of Superman/Batman #8.  One day I was perusing the sketch cover thread and saw a boardie with a Michael Turner sketch.  I never even considered the possibility that such a thing would exist.  One fateful evening I decided to do a search for Turner art and stumbled upon this.  I could hardly believe my eyes, the two artists I was mostly interested in collecting OA collaborating on the same piece?  Lee with one of DC's Trinity and Turner on the one DC character that I associated with him?  I had to have it.
