  1. Terrifying Tales #14 (CGC 5.0 with off-white to white pages.) $550: Sold to Comcav! William you da man! Classic gorgeous L.B. Cole bondage cover. Excellent centering and structure. Cole’s fascination and love with animal illustrations continues here with two stunning black panthers. Third highest graded. Difficult to own with only six in census.
  2. Tell it to the Marines #4 (CGC 8.0 with off-white to white pages.) $735: Sold to Comcav! Bright colorful light-hearted “good girl art” cover by Jack Sparling. Some great art inside also by Jack Sparling. Super white back cover. Tied for 2nd highest grade with two others. Only one graded higher. Only six in census.

Nice Bob Lubbers “headlights” cover. Clean cover with no stamps, writing or other ink marks. Let’s hope this Brunette has a life net waiting for her. Looks like a long way down.

Only five sold thru auctions in the last 10 years.

Vibrant colors highlight this great looking 1947 bondage cover by Jack Kamen. Love the puffball heels. Only six issues graded higher.

Solid stories highlight this 1952 pre-code horror gem with artwork by Lou Cameron and Mike Sekowsky. Stunning cover with bright colors, sharp corners, nice centering and excellent structure. Single highest graded!

  19. Marvel Tales #123 (CGC 6.5 with off-white to white pages.) $700: Gorgeous ghoulish Harry Anderson zombie cover. One of the better Atlas pre-code horror covers. Black background contributes to this being a very difficult issue to find in higher grades. Only three graded higher with CGC 8.0 the top grade.

You don’t often see 4.0 covers with such intense colors. High quality interior art is led by some of the era’s most coveted artists; Matt Baker (“Tiger Girl”) and Lily Renee (“Senorita Rio”).

  22. Wings Comics #89 (CGC 7.0 with off-white to white pages) $900: Sold to Podterp! Thanks Dan! Another stunning Bob Lubbers bondage cover. A crucified blond ready to go up in flames makes this one of Bob Lubbers finest works and one of the most desirable Good Girl Art bondage covers.

Solid centering and alignment contribute to this almost flawless cover. Love that look of terror on this gorgeous blond. June 1947 Fiction House.
