  1. Wow, talk about a blast from the past. That issue #10 takes me back to when I was a kid and it came out at the LCS. I don't think I have even thought of that book since. Now I must have it.
  2. Awesome Lantern books, I may have to add a few to the collection. Just bought FF#260 and #270 both in 9.8.
  3. One of my favorite books, must have cost a pretty penny.
  4. I cracked my red copy because I just wanted to see how the slabb was constructed so now I will probably buy another one. I did buy some nice raw copies from Mile High for only $1.00.
  5. $30-$35 I believe. Just wanted to have this in a slabb for the collection as I love this cover.
  6. Nice book, you should get it restored as it looks like you could get a very high grade out of it.
  7. Wow. I take it these books are extremely undervalued in guide. I mean how do you peg a value on something that rare and I presume it pre-dates the actual release of the newsstand Action #1?
  8. That's what its all about Dude. Buy great books with great covers and you'll never want to let them go.
  9. Very cool. Yet another cover I have never seen before.
  10. Appreciate that. I have a weakness for cool covers especially when the Sub-Mariner is on it. Here's another that I just couldn't pass on.
  11. Correct on the lower grade issues, I have seen one that recently went for around $450 so I very please with this purchase. I'm looking forward to sending this in for slabbing.
  12. Gerber rating of 7 I believe, less than 50 known copies, maybe more but still.
  13. No I just won it raw, apparently slight restoration by Matt Nelson and the estimated grade is 8.0. I plan to read this for sure but I think I will get it slabbed. I need to figure out how to calculate the value of a restored book? 50% of guide if only slight resto?
  14. I'm posting this all over the place but why not here as well.
  15. Not sure what GPA was on this but last year I saw about 4-5 of these listed for sale anywhere from $175-$225 and they were sold. Took a loss on my 9.6 copy when I sold it but this is less than a third of the cost so I'm more than happy.
  16. Steal of the week for me. Picked this up dirt cheap.
  17. Greta looking TTA's, all issues I need for my run.
  18. What do these early PPSS books go for in 9.8? I bought it on Pedigree for only $60 so I'm pretty happy about that. Most of them have but you should check them out.
  19. Oh and check the graders notes on that as with white pages and an old label you may have a shot at a 9.6.
  20. That's a John Buscema cover not Sal right? Very nice, I may have to pick one up myself.
