  1. Should link this thread to the OA section. Could this be an original cover?
  2. Thanks. Obviously a very complex transaction but only $2B for 77% of the voting stock seems low for a company that has over 100 years of history and a catalog that is endless. But I guess the distribution, licensing, etc are all held through subsidiaries?
  3. Hasn’t this issue always been referred to as a Dr. Doom prototype? I check the release date of FF#5 and it’s the same as this issue, 7/62.
  4. You know you might be right but my memory is a little foggy, been a few years now. I seem to recall reaching out to you via PM to see if it was available? Pretty sure I've only owned 1 copy, its so freaking cool.
  5. Great colours on that one. You can’t get grade a book for $50 today, what a steal.
  6. Seems like the market for these has been dead the last few years, I don’t get it. If it’s not a key book the auction prices have been horrible.
  7. How about the Allentown Wonder Comics #2 in an upcoming auction, love that copy.
  8. Although surprisingly DD#91 hasn’t commanded that much in way of price in NM, NM +. I was able to buy multiple copies on the cheap over the years.
  9. A great cover and nice copy. A disappointing story line, feels like they slapped this one together in a couple of days. But most of the early JIM’s were awesome, so many new characters and villains.
  10. Not overly excited by what I have seen so far to be honest.
  11. So was Ian's DA #1 cover actually produced by DC?
  12. That cover doesn’t get enough attention, love it.
  13. Hard to even grasp that there are this many 9.6 copies of these early Timley’s, crazy stuff.
  14. I’m guessing that the estate would have had to repay all sales proceeds? I don’t get why people would want to steal stuff that would be next to impossible to sell without it tracing back to them.
  15. If early FF’s do not stir up the collecting juices in someone then nothing will.
