  1. Wow, nice corners on that book, looks like it was never touched. What grade are we looking at?
  2. Her TTA work was outstanding. Most of my favorite covers from that run were drawn by her.
  3. Adam do you have complete runs of the pre-hero TTA/TOS and J.I.M.'s?
  4. Thank you. Actually I'm shocked that it lasted on the Link for what must have been at least 12 months. Pedigree or not I wanted this issue because of the great cover art.
  5. And one of the tougher Avengers to get in highgrade, as far as I can see. This was on my radar screen for a long time too! Nice catch, SS!
  6. The ugly and goofy Superman. That stuff is classic. 9.4/9.6?
  7. You betcha. This Avengers #45 has been listed for some and I have been watching and watching until I finally couldn't take it anymore. I don't have any slabbed pedigree's at the moment so this should be a nice start. Will look nice next to my TOS#84 which is also a Super Adaptoid cover.
  8. Well I hated to part with it in the first place but I had to at the time. Seriously if you do decide to upgrade or are just plain tired of it I would love to have first dibs at it. Since I bought it raw and had it graded I feel like its one of my babies.
  9. Maniac, What other Timely's do you own, please share them with us. Any chance I can pry my TOS#39 back from you?
  10. Very cool book. If it wasn't for that top LH edge it otherwise appears to be in spectacular condition.
  11. Nice copy! Toss in any Bill Everett covers you want to include! Cool book. Isn't there a J.I.M. or TTA/TOS #1 (6.5) coming up on Heritage. Anyone going to take a run at it?
  12. Absolutely. And with John B and Stern doing the art it was fantastic. Hercules getting smashed by the Masters of Evil and then Thor kicking some butt in return was awesome. Actually even the Olympus saga that followed was damn good stuff.
  13. Awesome books. There is something about those TTA's and TOS's that just say "classics" when you see them.
  14. Wow these books are in awesome shape. Usually I only see them in mid grade at best.
  15. I'm missing a few issues but I should get them shortly. That Avengers run sure did have some cool covers.
  16. Actually I voted for the Hulk but Thor in his current state would mop the floor of everyone including Superman. You saw what he did to Durok, Mangog etc with the snap of his fingers.
  17. Thank you! I'm very pleased with it! I would think it would grade VF. As for restored Vs Unrestored: There is evidence of a spot of glue sealing a bindery tear and a 1/2" tear seal to one page of the centerfold. That's it. As far as I'm concerned, it's Preservation rather than Restoration: A bindery tear is acceptable, so why fix it unless to protect it from further damage. The seal of a tear to the centerfold also does not do anything to improve the look of the book, but it too would keep further damage from occuring. If it were CGC'd,.... Any chance you might have the glue sealing professionally removed? Should still garner a high grade and probably increase its value dramatically. Very nice.
  18. Fuel Dude that book freakin rocks. Tell us about the grade, restored or unrestored?
