  1. Oh goodie, Wizard World Chicago and Baltimore have onsite grading, I hope to get my Pre Screens Moderns by Thanksgiving.
  2. Your Welcome, it's funny most writers and artists don't have too much stock on their book, and when they do, they say it's not in the best shape because their dog or kid handled it
  3. Was able to pick up these, this doesn't even include the bunch i sent off to CGC.
  4. Just picked up some Phantom Variant ones at the Boston Comic Con, now to make a SS set.
  5. Submitting a bunch to CGC today in Boston, should have them back by NYCC.
  6. Got my set personally from Frank last night at the Barnes and Noble discussion, everything seems fine, Thanks Frank!
  7. Frank will be doing a signing August 8th at Barnes and Noble in Tribeca at 6pm.
  8. 2 of my regular shops I hit up didn't get theirs I checked 3 stores here, and none of them got it either Midtown Comics is sold out of # 2, but they only got one cover. Hopefully the other one comes next week.
  9. Will be tough to find 9.8's, cover has same issue that Southern Bastards had, small creases on cover.
  10. SS for mine, when I see the boys at NYCC
  11. Has anyone else heard of this? I was informed that there are roughly 80 copies of the SDCC RRP given out. That's such an odd number that I'm going to guesstimate there to be 75 or 100 copies to make a nice even number. I beleive these were given to retailers only, explains the low number.
  12. It would seem fitting that there is a Manifest Destiny Sketch cover, since there is a Walking Dead Sketch cover of the same issue. The only thing we need to know is the ratio of color to sketch.
  13. Same, although they have botched that up lately and i have been charged for pre screen before they are even scheduled for grading.
  14. It's also great that Frank comes into Forbidden Planet in NYC and signs whatever he is working on, and they are on the shelves for cover price.
  15. Picked these up from Dave Kapelka at Special Edition, part of a new collection of bronze he got in.
  16. 4 out of the 5 "replacements" were crunched in the center of the spine. WTF is wrong with those people at Diamond??? JEEZ!!! At least I got 1 9.8 and grabbed another when I was out and about today. 2 is better than none, but it ain't the 5 I was expecting Ordering Five comics & expecting Five 9.8's. Hilarious. In the future you should just pick the 9'8"s off the CGC tree. They're Free... Yeah the nerve of me to expect a new comic book to look like it's effin new and not like someone used the middle of the spine to floss their teeth The NERVE of you to expect all five to be 9.8's indeed. You're delusional. Maybe 20% of the new product shipped weekly is 9.8. ( the reason a 9.8 is valuable is because they don't grow on trees) Retailers accept product in salable condition. This is the reason it always takes me about 45 minutes to get my new books on Wednesday, doing spot grading at Midtown Comics. A lot of people will pick the first book they see, they don't care, they just want to read the book. For the few that need perfection, you need to put your due diligence in and pick the book yourself, and there's also pre screen moderns at CGC.
  17. Midtown Times Square is Sold Out of 7B, they might get back orders tomorrow, the Grand Central has the most, and Downtown will sell out today.
  18. That's funny, where i will be spending most of my summer.
