I enjoy when boardies talk about games. I trust these voices and I've speculated on games so always good to get some insights. -

my thoughts on the lots I followed MF73 4.5 (Voldemort) $32,400 - nice pickup there for someone, thought that price was a bit low for such an important book and was a real nice copy. This book still doesn't get the full respect it deserves in my opinion. I almost threw a bid in there last minute given this relatively low price but wasn't prepared. Sub-Mariner Comics #1 4.0 $16,800 - sold about where it should if one were to follow gpa and I thought a really nice pickup for someone at this price. Still an undervalued book in my opinion and tough. I can see this book really breaking out in the future. AF15 5.0 $38,400 - I know I know it's SA but it's a bellwether for almost the entire era. Continued the slight downward pricing trend of late. I liked this copy and wasn't bothered by the tape on cvr. A 5.0 under 40k is a nice grab. -
Howdy folks! Got some war books for ya, sold in one lot. Nice lower grade copies. -Paypal only (US buyers only), no returns, shipping included in price (USPS priority mail med flat rate box), books shipped bagged and boarded, books ship out from SF, CA. First take gets the lot. Not sure how to price these but #4 is a tough, cool book.

Adventures into Darkness #14 Next up a book I really like with probably my favorite cover in the run. Held it as a placeholder for a long time as it was really hard to upgrade it. Beat but complete as they say. A much lower grade copy but still hanging on at the top staple just like that guy in the water is hanging onto life. Probably Fair condition. $50

Wow didn’t think I’d find any GA on this trip and found this book in a shop that mostly sells newer material and graphic novels. That’s right - 175 euros! They also had the Brick Bradford #5 also priced at 175 euros. Clearly not the same price category. Finally a score!

Someone got that book for a good price there. I was on the fence about putting a bid in, but for some reason I'm not sure why but I just cooled on it and couldn't pull the trigger. I have a blue label .5 and this would have been a significant upgrade as my copy is a total beater with brittle pages. We'll eventually get our Flash movie and someone will put on the suit even if it's not Ezra Miller and the book will have it's day. I like this book way more than Supe 1 but to each their own.

MULTIPLE AF 15, ASM 1, FF 1, HULK 1
atomised replied to Bunky Brian's topic in Golden/Silver/Bronze Age Only
thanks man, I've never had a copy and it took me a while to overcome my FF bias. I grew up an X-Men reader and collector. Back then, there were X-Men readers and Fantastic Four readers - and you were in one camp or the other but not both. I still probably have that superiority complex that some X-Men readers have and probably always will. But couldn't resist! -
