    why they don't have a live auctioneer for this is just silly. Selling books for tens and thousands of dollars on autopilot but they get a live person every time they are auctioning off Beatles bobble heads for hundreds of dollars.

    Have you contacted CGC customer service to discuss? What did they say? I have not had one issue with their service in 8 years of continuous volume, not one.

    was crypto money flowing in at some point? From almost everyone I know and follow in the crypto space, I've never seen anyone mention anything other than NFTs or the latest Bored Ape meme or equivalent. Maybe they are cashing out of NFTs and getting into traditional collectibles such as comics, but again, no one I know or follow. They are obsessed with NFTs.

    maybe they realized "affluent" sounds really pompous and elitist so now the website doesn't mention that. They also threw in the buzz word "inclusive" so maybe they already got feedback.     Surprises me too. It's nonsense that crypto people and other speculative buyers are buying Promise books. Comic collectors are.
