I think you should get the signature. On this book it is more valuable than not having it. Just make sure you create a window where you want stan to sign so he doesn't epic fail. I also heard most people are pressing everything they send in nowadays but I'm not sure.

I am curious too if anyone knows if a comic in great shape is just missing it's top staple completely what grade would it get?

I'm just thinking it's possible that guy patz brought the stuff to mikes booth and said look what I found in salavage! Mike didn't go to someone's booth and take stuff so how would he know? This is probably why they dropped it all. There appears to be a grey area between what you can take after a show and what you cant. Patz also is likely a first time offender of this, hence the adjournment if he doesnt get in any more trouble. Still no comment from carbo. Didn't know carbo didn't actually sell comics himself. 24 issues away from amazing spiderman 1-200. Trying to keep my focus there and avoid all the variants madness no matter how nice a cover looks.

Maybe mike didn't know what that guy was doing. I'm pretty sure carbo is doing well with his sales that he wouldn't need to steal. He could easily sell a 20k book. Patz was probably just doing this to try to impress carbo. I hope carbo comments soon and sets things straight if that is the case. Silence implies guilt though if he never comments.

Xmen mutant apocalypse for snes is great. The xmen games on regular nintendo are horrid. The genesis xmen games are extremely difficult and not that great imo.

That's funny. I've seen the opposite. And I don't know what kind of profit you would seek from a VF comic with a print run of over one and a half million copies. 9.8s routinely sell for $100 and 9.9s are topping out at ten times that amount. I should also mention that I will pay up to $300 for some of those issues (not rare variants) in 9.8 condition. Got issues 26, 64, 135, 152, 156, 182, 203, or 212? Contact me to cash in. Those of you with these "worthless" issues need to call me. Just looked up some of those. 26 and 64 are around 2 to 4 bucks. 135 maybe 10 dollars. 152 and 156 i can get for 2 or 3 dollars plus shipping. 9.8 versions of course are more just like every comic but raw nm copies of most spawn comics seem to be pretty cheap. Is there a single spawn comic that's not a rare variant worth 50 dollars raw?

I can't even get 5 bucks for my vf spawn 1. Spawn comics except for rare variants have been in serious decline. 1 dollar tops most issues.

I hate when I do my best to grade something and then the buyer disagrees by .2 points and wants a refund...yet he didn't ask for more pictures and just assumed I worked for cgc. This is why almost no one wants to even attempt to grade books they sell...it's too subjective. I don't think I'm assigning even an estimate anymore and I'm just going to say: view the pictures.

What's the point if it doesn't hold true to the comics.

I think samco1 is a great seller. Bought from him many times. Great customer service compared to most on ebay. If you think a book is over graded don't bid that high. Everyone thinks they are perfect graders. At least this guy makes right on things when necessary.

I loved the connecting covers except for the michonne one.. ..she looked manly and like medusa at rhe same time.

8.5 hulk 181 would have been 1000 dollars well spent in 2010....now you can only get a 5.0 for that. I bet that 1000 for a 5 now will seem cheap in 5 years. Wolverine is always popular.

Beautiful book congrats!! Stunning with white pages. Great read and a great comic overall. Got to upgrade someday.

Been grabbing some of the later keys lately. Got a secret wars 8..the 911 issue and 529 for the first iron spider suit. I feel like iron man might give it to him in the movies.

Crazy value for this book. 7500 asking price for a 9.8...forget amazing fantasy 15 I should of got the comic where maryjane gets a symbiote.

Drool worthy comics. I'd be happy with a 1.0 spidey 1. A 9.0 is amazing. And white pages too. Sometimes I'm tempted to sell my whole collection to just get 1 or 2 comics like that.

Every hero is female now. Can't they come up with something new?
