seller shilling
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=louispapedo101&ftab=AllFeedback
He listed a Gen 13 CGC 9.8 Chrome SS for $300 but no bitters for months.
Slowly went down to $250 and no takers.
Now no reserve auction and a bidder of 0 feedback with 100% bidding on his auctions driving up his sales...suspicious

Interesting how all of the people I've had problems with ALWAYS have zero negative feedback.
327 positive feedbacks. (edit: actually 787 positive overall, 327 last 12 months)
Anyhoo, won at auction a $40-something dollar book from me many weeks ago, hits me with "I'm on vacation will pay when I'm back" and "there is no service here", and then disappears entirely.
I just hit him with an unpaid case, so I'm guessing another excuse is imminent.
if he was able to message you then he definitely could have paid

Add buyer:
gamestacker
Made very rude comments and stated he really really hoped he won my auction so he could leave a negative feedback.
Definitely somebody to avoid

to me-- this is not about whining at all. It is about sharing experiences on eBay and up to the reader to decide if that warrants blocking or at least being wary of the specific buyer (or sometimes seller). If you take the list and just block anyone on it without doing any legwork, you will get out of it exactly what you put in it.
If this upsets you, you should probably not be reading this thread. If it bothers you because someone named your account as one to steer clear of-- state your case and let the people decide if it was a valid issue.
Personally-- I didn't have any issue with the low ball offer that Donmeca2020 made on the item that upset the seller enough to block them and give their reasons. It didn't violate any rules other than the sellers perceived slight.
But to be fair-- I had already blocked Donmeca2020 because I am not a fan of how he acts on the forum itself. He seems to believe that he can act like a jerk all the time and it not having any consequences. Then he trolls this thread for the rest of our lives further proving he is very much block worthy. Some people simply cannot understand how to act around others. When many people are telling you that you are acting inappropriately, the answer isn't to amp up the behavior under the guise of being defiant.
anyway-- for those of us who sell on eBay-- this thread is both interesting and informative.
To be honest, I don't pay enough attention to this thread to know who Donmeca2020 is. I thought he was just a typical n00b trying to make a name for himself by acting like a jerk...I had no idea he had a history. Makes sense though, thank you for the information.
I'd also like to say that lowball offers don't bother me, sometimes I find them amusing. What I find annoying are the lowball offers coupled with the lame explanations for why I should sell them my book for more than 50% off current market value.
I give 40% offers on eBay all the time. Sellers can no accept and sellers can counter. But with the responses, it's not needed for both parties so keep it professional and not bring your mama's into it or sista's, ya dig?

eBay removed the feedback you left? Did they give you a reason?
seller isoldgrit sent and empty box to me, too. been dealing with this guy's empty promises for 7 weeks and wondering how such a negligent seller could have good feedback.
to hear that ebay deleted your feedback is very discouraging. if you have any advice, please share.
They said it violated their feedback policy.
He claimed he shipped my book to somebody in California and trying to get it back. PayPal gave him 2 weeks to response to the dispute but he failed to respond so he tried to appeal and PayPal denied it.
You're better off filing a dispute.
Update:
I left negative feedback, it was removed in minutes. I called eBay to ask what my violation was --
eBay: We're sorry, there was no violation, the feedback was mistakenly removed. The representative who made the mistake will receive additional training.
me: can the feedback be re-posted? or can i post another?
eBay: No, and no, sorry. But we'll make a report of this.
me: What was the reason recorded for pulling the feedback?
eBay: The seller isoldgrit requested feedback removal on the basis that a full refund was issued.
me: He shipped an empty box, and to an address different than mine. I'd like to be notified with the findings of your investigation, is that possible?
eBay: No, sorry, but we'll investigate and take proper action.
--
I'm not sure if that even has any real meaning. But PhoKing, I would advise at least calling eBay to request an investigation. sellers like isoldgrit are such a poison to the safe marketplace environment created by the honest sellers out there.
No point in dealing with ebay for refund. File dispute with paypal.
The seller is a scammer and keeps telling lies.

SELLER SCAM ALERT ON EBAY
SELLER ID = isoldgrit
Bought and paid for X-Men 101 CGC 8.0 SS and weeks later he sent me an envelope containing Identity Block.
How fitting as I just got scammed
Luckily I filed a dispute a few days after I got tracking showing it is coming as an envelope.
BEWARE!!
None of this makes any sense.
What doesn't make sense?
I paid for a comic book. Seller sent me just an envelope with just paper inside.
-
Got the envelope today and seller sent it through a shipping company called Puralator and on the label shows 1LBS document.
I left negative feedback but eBay removed it.

Hmmm... so it looks like this guy is up to his old tricks but going bigger this time with bigger dollar mounts on his bad checks.
Seriously... who the $%)#! takes checks anymore? Who even uses checks? (except for my mortgage)
"problems with paypal"... translation: I don't have enough money & paypal won't let me spend money I don't have.
Who pays their mortgage with a check?
My mortgage is at a different bank than my checking account. Otherwise I'd just do an auto-deduction. I wish I could start just using my Amex though if they take it. Earn points. Wait... can I do that? Because that would be brilliant. I need to look into that.
I wish I can pay my student loans with credit cards that way I can get cash back or points to travel the world...

Not eBay but Etsy...
Seems like a scam to me? Low priced for an AF 2.5 cgc grade. Also user is brand new.
How protected are you through PayPal if he sends you a print and not the comic?

I just watched it too -- I really liked it. Sure there were a couple of corny lines in there, but it was only the pilot episode and I think it will be pretty good.
But I don't think my opinion counts, because I also liked Smallville and the Green Lantern movie.

I hate this when it happens!!!

See where the guy put in a max bid of $26k WTH. Looking at his/her retraction history and it's apparently they do it offend. Is this considered shilling?
