  1. JewellzCardzandCo and I worked out our issues so that whole mess that played out and ended with deleted posts and banned camp was resolved. I think I'm on the same list that PhoKing is talking about. I say take him off and put me on it twice.

    Lego my ego...lol

yes please remove me :) and let me buy your comics!

  2. Kav, I haven't tried but I was just browsing and saw my name. I just don't want to be on any list lol

I got brought into a fight between a shill bidder and a seller. The seller found my old post regarding the shiller. The shiller tried to sway members to show me as the shiller.

Seems that if there are too many characters on the screen people tend to get confused.

All I did was win an auction and paid for it then get added to a list for no reason because the shiller bids got canceled.

  3. I would like to explain my case.

Please read everything before you make judgement.

    First off cf02cf03:

JewellzCardzandCo claims cf02cf03 and phokingfacevalue is the same person:

    http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7936005#Post7936005

    Phokingfacevalue ebay page: PhoKingFaceValue

    cf02cf03 ebay page:

    cf02cf03

First off you will notice cf02cf03 is located in Richmond Virginia.

Second, you will noticed that Phokingfacevalue is from Seattle, WA

Thrid, aznlovesauce is also my account. I had this deactivated due to

    JewellzCardzandCo imaturity changing his name

    jewellzcardzandcomicz

The auction where this all started:

    X-Men #25 GOLD edition CGC 9.8

As you can see that it was won by me. If you go to my feedback, you will also see cf02cf03 feedback as well as my feedback to him.

Here is a screen print of my payment for the item. If you noticed my city and state is Hillsboro, OR.

    PayPal payment for eBay purchase

Also if you noticed the transaction payment is for the eBay auction # 161384559783 which I won. This is also JewellzCardzandCo claims that I am both seller and buyer shilling.

To the matter of fact JewellzCardzandCo is upset because he wanted this to complete his set that he has been trying to sell on ebay:

    X-men Fatal Attraction set

This is the whole reason why he claims that cf02cf03 and I are shilling because cf02cf03 canceled his bids after he found out JewellzCardzandCo was messing with his auction.

There are a few people on here that can vouch for my location.

RMA stated to me in the past that he does know JewellzCardzandCo and have dealt with him before.

Others that have bought from me as well as sold to me can vouch for me that I live in the west coast not the east coast.

FIREFLY can vouch for me as he has stayed at my place in downtown Seattle.

All I am asking is to be removed from the list because I tend to buy a lot on here as well as eBay and being on this list prevents me from buying books from members.

For instance, I have purchased from Columbia Comics and if he does block me it would suck :)

  4. Hello everyone,

In the Giving Tree thread, I posted the grade the ST #115 had received when it was put in the PGM section previous to me purchasing it (which consensus-wise was a 4.0 average). I didn't agree with that grade when I got the book in-hand (I usually disagree with the PGM grading) but as to not cause trouble here on the CGC forum that's the grade I quoted when people inquired. People have had it out for me in that thread since the beginning so I didn't want to rock the boat.

Regarding my eBay sales, I grade the best I can when putting up several hundred comics each week. I offer a no-questions-asked 14-day return policy where I even pay the return shipping if anyone isn't satisfied for any reason (including the book's grade). I am a Top-Rated Power Seller on there with nearly $100,000 in sales over the past 12 months (nearly all raw comics). I have 99.7% positive feedback (over 500 this month alone) and high Detailed Seller Ratings across the board (including "Item As Described"). If someone isn't satisfied with a grade on any book they purchase I have them return it and I re-evaluate my grade before I re-list. Nearly all of the time I will inquire exactly what the buyer thought was wrong in my grading so I can improve.

    Peace,

    Chip

You've sold nearly $100,000 in raw books on eBay in the last 12 months?

Is that net profit or gross prior to any expense and overhead?

  5. It's full time and my only source of income. I'm not well-off by any means. I pay the bills and put food on the table. We have a few nice things but hardly live anything remotely close to a plush life.

That dollar amount is me working as hard as my low-motivation self will allow on mostly commission sales. If some weeks I have to sell 300 $1 books to get by, that's what I do.

I currently support myself, my girlfriend, our daughter and my g/f's mother.

    Peace,

    Chip

Have you ever thought about probably having your gf and gf mother help out by filing for government assistance? Nothing wrong with it. When my parents came to the US from Vietnam, they filed for the government cheese.

Also if your credit is bad and you have debt, might look into filing for bankruptcy and get a fresh start at the bottom and work yourself back up.

  6. In the Giving Tree thread, Chip Cataldo posted a Strange Tales #115 that he graded 4.0. Another boardie pointed out to me that he had this same book listed on ebay as a 5.5.

So I did a little bit of digging. Huge grade bumps from PGM to eBay and there are a LOT of examples. Here are some:

PGM: DD 7 3.5 and he said "that's about what I had it pegged at". --------------------- ebay 5.0

    PGM: Avengers 55 5.5/6.0 ------------------- ebay 7.5

    PGM: Captain Marvel 1 4.0 ------------------ ebay 5.0

    PGM: Captain Marvel 26 8.5 --------------- ebay 9.2

    PGM: Iron Man 30 6.0 ------------------- ebay 8.0

    PGM: Iron Man 76 8.0 ------------------- ebay 9.2

    PGM: TOS 31 4.5 ----------------- ebay 6.0

    PGM: FF 74 4.5 ------------------ ebay 7.0

    PGM: ASM 33 4.5 ------------------- ebay 6.0

Look at any of his other PGM and you'll almost certainly see a hefty grade bump when placed on ebay.

To me, it looks like purposefully overgrading for a higher wining bid. What makes it worse is that's he advertises directly through this site.

I had a thought that maybe the grade disparity was due to undergrading in the PGM sub-forum. Not so. Why list the ST115 here as a 4.0 and on ebay as a 5.5? Or the DD 7, where he agrees with the 3.5 average but posts it on ebay as a 5.0? It reeks of serial overgrading.

    Thoughts?

    :screwy:

didn't he get ripped off by somebody on eBay? Maybe he found out it's okay to do this and there is no repercussion?

  7. Speaking of phokingfacevalue.. did you see the neutral feedback he left for the seller after asking the boards if he should leave negative?

"Pushy Seller Sent 4 invoice within 2hrs then files dispute after 48hrs"

Just surprised ebay hasn't removed it is all.

yup! I had a bad experience and I'm entitled to leave a feedback which I felt was appropriate.

  8. Yeah, I'm sure they know you on a deeply personal level.

    Waylan,

That's the problem is that you're making this personal. I have had business relationships with the forum members I listed. I accused you of shilling because you bid and retracted on two of my auctions because someone else wants the books more than you. I have several copies of each X-men #25 (Gold/B&W) and they're in demand so I put them up for auction. So lets keep this simple and have you answer this question: Did you bid on two of my items with no intention of paying that amount and then retracting the bids? If the answer is yes, then you're a shill bidder. Simple!

    Untitled1.png

    Untitled.png

The idea that I would only shill the 2 auctions out of the 20+ I have going that just so happen to be the ONLY auctions you bid on. Is that plausible?

It's funny how he claims you're shilling when he just posted ID's without any substantial proof lol

    Back to the real shiller.

If you look at his shillers account "thebigboss420" has very similar if not the same genre of books for sale. As well as 2 negatives and 1 neutral feedback stating same to similar issues. Since he doesn't honor winning bids, he results to shilling.

    http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=thebigboss420&iid=-1&de=off&items=25&which=negative&interval=365&_trkparms=negative_365

What I find funny is all his auctions are listed private...why? So he can hide that shillers account...lol

I also find it funny because I put in a maximum price what I wanted to pay and noticed the other buyer keep outbid me even at $400, lol yea I was willing to pay that much :)

After a day I received an email stating buyer has backed out of the 2 #25 variants, I see the max of $1200 and $500 bids. This led me to believe he wanted to jack up prices to mess up the auction. This was the reason why I backed out and now I have the chance to winning.

  9. Oh by the way jimmy the seller said to me he did open the dispute and accused me if not paying. It wasn't automatically opened.

But he couldn't have opened the case if you had paid, right?

And how long did you have to pay before the case would be closed and have any affect on your account?

    Also

and what was your eBay ID?[/color]

Won auction on Friday. Case was open today.

As far as my eBay id it's aznhotsauce. Go ahead and block that ...

with youtube clips like this I'd be a to block you

leave negative and neutral feedback for sellers that don't send you items in the condition as advertised, fall through with a transaction, or try to scam you. (thumbs u

lol you google that id is like googling john smith :roflmao:

  11. Never said I bid and can't pay. What I meant is if the seller required payment within 1 day and I can't make it because if the weekend or whatever. I usually put in a highest amount I would pay for the book in which this set I was willing to pay $200.

Or whenever sellers have multiple items for sale but has different end dates. I ask to make sure they know I will pay and ask for combined shipping or wait until I win other auction.

Ah...that is why I send out invoices, so people know they can combine. Perhaps that is what this person was doing.

In any case, try counting to a thousand before you leave a neutral. That stuff is for people who don't answer after you contact them with a problem. Why ruin someone over what might be an understanding?

and what was your eBay ID?

Did you not read that I stated he accused me of not paying because he sent multiple invoices?

  12. What I meant is if the seller required payment within 1 day and I can't make it because if the weekend or whatever. I usually put in a highest amount I would pay for the book in which this set I was willing to pay $200.

  13. I don't mind seller sending an invoice. But numerous invoices within a span of 2hrs? Yeah that's called demanding and spamming. I pay within a reasonable time. If seller requires immediate payment then I either message them and let them know if I can't pay and work it out with the seller.

Seems like people not reading and comprehending. Seller never stated payment terms and no communication and I get a dispute. I've bought books on here and I've always pay on time. If I had any issues I would communicate with the seller.

So with all the issues that came up and I'm not allowed to leave a negative? What's the point of having a feedback system. So I should just sit back and let sellers do whatever they want? If you put payment terms and I didn't follow them then yes it wash fault but he didn't put payment terms. We put terms here in the sales guide lines.
