My name is Kevin and I love comic books. I've been collecting since I was six years old and loved looking at the dynamic art but it was Frank Miller's Daredevil that really turned me onto the power of great writing. I collect mainly Silver but also love key Bronze stories such as Miller and Starlin's cosmic world. I dabble in modern comics done well like Brubaker's Cap and Bendis' Daredevil. I worked in advertising my entire career making TV commercials but recently worked with my wife to open a Charter School in the South Bronx. The South Bronx does not have a single comic book store so I introduced comic learning to our school and have donated hundreds of comics and graphic novels to the local library and other schools in the area. I had to cut down anyway but the kids love them and I get a huge kick when a kid sees a comic for the first time and their eyes light up. I am getting a huge kick out of the boards. People here are serious about comics and movies but they can have some fun with it too.

The casting is still off with the show but the storyline has definitely improved and the tie in with winter soldier was very smart. I love the direction of the story. My theory is that we are seeing the introduction of Thanos and the Kree. They keep on mentioning the coming of a great power. I believe they are talking about Thanos and he will be using the Kree to attack. Now here is where it gets wonky. I believe Sky has been given Kree blood which will turn her into a version of Ms Marvel. I'm not sure what that makes coulson. Can't picture Captain Marvel or Nova but is there a character I'm missing. At this point Shield will have to come back for Season 2 so that Marvel can tease out the time between Guardians and Avengers 2. If they stay in this direction, I believe they can tease out Thanos and lay the groundwork for the start of the Civil War storyline. It's too early to think they can tap into an Infinity Gauntlet storyline but man this has potential to be a great series.

Agree, BB 28 is a classic. Movie or no movie this will hold value. This is one of the DC silver age icons. A great movie will definitely help but it won't be a deal breaker.

I love me some Thanos but this is easy. With the glove Thanos wins easy. Without the glove, Darkseid whomps Thanos in a brutal beat down.

Finally, we get a trailer worthy of the storyline. Agree, we need more Sentinels but they have to hold some things back, right? Things just got interesting...

Great thread. Agree with every word valiant said. My opinion is FF 67 will be the more "valuable" comic. Don't underestimate the significance of the cocoon as an iconic symbol for comic book and now movie fans based on the Thor 2 Easter egg. Also agree with another commenter that any comic collector worth their salt should own both FF 67 and Thor 165 and FF 66. And make sure you read them too. Great stuff!

Agree show was only ok. The casting is really just bad. The characters are written poorly and the actors are so bland. And by wonder twins I'm assuming we are talking about those two incredibly annoying scientists with the accents. Truly the worst part of an average how. They are basically the Jar Jar Binks twins. I still hold out hope that someone will rescue this show before it goes down in boring flames.
