  1. Was gonna say 8-8.5. But it really is sharp. Looks like it may have been pressed from back but if you say it hasn't ?
  2. Was going to say upward of 6.5 but the back kills you down to a 4-4.5 max imo
  3. I rarely buy at auction. But there's a time and a place...gonna look this week. Amazing stuff.
  4. I'll have to look. I just recall it being a poor signature. I'd have preferred he signed in childlike lettering in a star like ST 178 like in my OO beater copy. My Sig is better than his as a child. ?
  5. I love Starlin's work from the 70's but I have a Sig series IM 100 and his Sig sux. Just saying ?
  6. I sold a coverless more fun 73 a while ago. Would love to see that one again :-)
  7. Missed as in bought another since he must have sold his copy.? Missed as in not first to a GGA book....unlikely? Missed as in "swing and a miss"⚾️ Rarely It's Sunday am here in Jakarta 4:40 AM and I'm hearing prayer over a loudspeaker. Amazing the dichotomy our world brings us in culture and interest.
  8. Rick missed his white sweater issue ????? Too bad they don't reproduce quickly. Not enough to go around ?????
  9. Awesome classic thread. Just waking up here in Indonesia to see Rick picked up the cow puncher. He knows I collect those and need a few. Yer killeeen me I will go on a selling and buying tear when I get home Nice pick ups to all and dang, there's a few I'd still like to have :-)
  10. Did anyone buy notes on the 6.0. Wow a stunner
  11. Still amazed how inexpensive the true first in costume ant man goes for. Great book and nice looking copy ?
  12. There are multiple reasons that I love this pedigree as a collector and as the history is so intriguing. My Uncle Bob was interned during WWII and deported back to Japan with his family as a young man. It took him many years to make it back. He was out of place in Japan as having been born in the USA he wasn't Japanese anymore but an American. He has written a book about Japanese soldiers that fought for the US in WWII and has also recorded some videos which are now online as part of his experience and documentation of history. Love you Uncle Bob Kono. Google him and learn something new.?
  13. The petting zoo is to the back of the room behind the modern displays.
  14. Seem like some stellar books for some nice prices. Those Adams Xmen are nice and in an affordable yet clean grade ?
  15. Leave as a pair. You get to see more. Probably 3.0 cgc qualified combine for valuation
  16. Nice presenting copy for a lower mid grade. Corners and minor edge wear appear to be your biggest detractors. General minor wear and ncbc but fiber breaking creasing is present. Sight spine roll and a little looser staple and staple tears? Im going to say it's a 5.0 but really I could see it as low as a 4.5 depending on the corners and the back is quite nice or as highly as a 5.5.
