  1. 4.0 was my first blush estimate without reading the others opinions
  2. 3.5 at best but dangerous to read. Cheap lesson. And yes too bad they were not amenable to their lack of grading skills. They indicated it had a spine split so they at least know what one is😉
  3. I have a lot of them but never thought of them having much value. I agree cool
  4. Nope it’s the wear that occurs when mishandled but yes it’s easy to have happen.
  5. I was at 3.5. Assume you got it pressed before slabbing ?
  6. Agreed that worse and looks like a gift grade to me but no real creasing so you are dealing with marvel chipping and overflash damage. Choose your poisons over multiple color breaking creases and spine wear. That 40 has a decent spine
  7. I had an otherwise 9.4 TOS 59 with a stain like that and it was sitting in a 6.5 slab. That’s best case scenario but more likely 5.5 ish
  8. Would be looking at a 2.0 from me as your Cgc grader. Tape stains are a shame but hey it’s a classic. Congrats
  9. Looks like a solid copy with a nice back that could be cleaned and pressed flat. With that said the front spine wear and upper right corner wear cannot be undone and will limit your grade to a 4.5 i’d Think. Maybe 5.0 on a very good day?
  10. It is a deceptive piece missing and at first glance takes a bit to notice
  11. Exactly you will get your money based upon how it presents when in those mid range grades as people are looking for presentation and know they aren’t going got nose bleed grades. It’s a great entry into that issue and one to be proud of.
  12. I edited my post when I saw back. Needs a clean and press and I think you’ll be lucky to get over a 5.0 but it will generally present much better.
  13. I think it will be much lower than 7.5 due to significant spine wear fraying and mini tears but it will present very nicely in a slab once pressed. Those water spots and stains on the back will disappoint you on the final Cgc grade. Good luck
  14. This really messes up my continuity thoughts on Star Wars characters and movies 🎥
  15. This thread needs more pictures. Sadly it looks like any arrival date information looks to be obscured erased on just not present here 😱
  16. Perfect defect to save a buyer money. Looks quite nice for the grade
  17. Since I have a Superman 4 but not the action I’ll lean towards Supes 4 but the whole argument that one story leads to a first appearance over another can be skewed. Origins get retold all the time with the character being first implemented and those are never first appearance just because the story would make you believe it....just sayin... supes could easily have know of lex Luther before he actually met him 🤔
  18. Don’t know the answer but figured I’d post my ‘61 postage stamp spinner again. Love it and would love to find more.
