    And with that said, there are many long time collectors that have hoards or cool books that each trade/sale feels like a lost memory and that forces the hunt to begin again. Some love the “profit” some love the “hunt” some love the “show factor” some love the “art form and history”. I personally love it all and there’s a niche for everyone. Buy what you like and make sure you’ve got a good day job.👍

    I have one ga that was reglossed and since it’s a major key I give it a pass. If prices accordingly it’s just another thing that happens to some old books

    Reglossing is an old school restoration method that is not reversible. Enjoy your flat colored comics. I wouldn’t worry about shining them up

    Possible the right edge is in better shape as it was shifted a long time ago and not exposed. But there was a time when it was exposed and on a book with that much wear it’s suspect at Best. I’d also want to see a picture of the inside edge of the free edge front cover

    I’m not a big GI Joe collector but I did have a few from around 1973-1975 along with the requisite Mego Star Trek and planet of the apes and I even had a ton of Johnny West from 1972-1975. So when I saw a Craigslist ad I had to pounce. It’s fun trying to figure out what all I bought... any 64-75 joe collectors here to help a guy out?
