Nice !! I've had this Color Special #1 on my want list for a while and finally went online. If you can pick nice copies locally they may well prove a real bargain IMO, as comichron numbers show typical orders at 7-9k copies with troughs of less than 4k.

+1 As soon as my temp job is finished I am cashing out too. Saving a handful and the rest go up for sale.

Christmas eve present 🎁 Affectionately known as tampon Spawn

The last of my gifts arrived in time for a Christmas exchange with my sister and her kids in the garage last night. My last SS package is looking set to arrive before Friday. I've gotten lucky. The UPS truck I'm a helper on has gotten lighter all week, Saturday we finished our 110 stops by 2pm and we were helping other drivers by taking stops. I can't explain it. I've heard that helpers are staying on thru mid-January.

Sure we do! We went on to start a gaming company and produced some pretty cool button mashers, mainly Darksiders and Darksiders 2

I use them. They are about $1 each. One book media mail with tracking is $2.80. I can charge $4 shipping for one book and not lose my shirt schlepping it to the PO.

Recently the holiday exchange thread had me reviewing the collection for Corben material, a minor shared interest with my fellow boardie. It was sad to see that I'd gotten rid of most of what I remember. I have only a few examples of his work, mostly ancillary to my underground comix collection. I still have his contributions to Skull and Insect Fear. I passed on the IRS copies of Den I had to a new collector. I've never held a Fantagor #1 1st print in my hand. I've seen his work and learned from older dealers of his popularity / influence in the 1970s-80s. It seems he was both before my time and after. It's a loss for underground comix, bronze horror and Warren fans alike.

1) Completed X-Men 1-19 this year with this one from @blazingbob 2) Got lucky with 3 different Usagi Yojimbo IDW online con exclusives this year... 3) It's the "Year of Spawn" for me with the MK11 action figures and the Spawn action figure Kickstarter, which is expected soon! I also have the MK11 Spawn with the 'blood feud hunter skin' wrapped up for Christmas morning. The lady and I call that one tampon Spawn.

For me the packages that are getting delayed are the ones that switch carriers, like UPS / USPS surepost, or FedEx to USPS (day or two), or USPS packages through a particular sorting facility in Bensonville, IL (1 week). Priority to and from my area is running right at 3 days.
