To heck with anybody thinking you ripped off this guy, the minute you try to educate a seller on value you get shut out of the deal, once there’s dollar signs in their eyes. If I spied an AF15 at a garage sale for a buck I’d snatch it up in an instant with zero guilt. Awesome score, congrats!

Got all these from a guy who approached me at a show, his grading was excellent and all below OPG. 2 hour drive well worth it Bought these a couple weeks ago and set aside some bigger books to buy the following week - FF52, Flash 139, another TOS 57 plus others. I was afraid he’d change his mind on selling them, which he did! I knew I should have begged or borrowed the money but took a chance and waited. He says he’s waiting for the new guide to come out so hopefully can still score them, old school guy doesn’t use GPA or even look at eBay If he would have taken PayPal or etransfer I would have been golden. Anxiously awaiting the new guide

I’ve known Dave for quite awhile and have gotten some good deals off him, Winnipeg being the gossip central that it is in the comic community, I’ve never heard anything bad about him other than grading discrepancies. Seems pretty weird that he would intentionally sell you resto’d books knowing you would be pressing and submitting them. I seen the HOS you bought just not out of the bag. You sent it to CGC knowing it was touched?
